Texans claimed CB Reggie Robinson off waivers from the Cowboys.
Robinson was waived by the Cowboys last Friday. A fourth-round pick back in 2022, Robinson did not log a snap on defense as a rookie before missing all of last year due to a toe injury. Despite the lackluster start to his career, Robinson is a low-risk addition with upside for the Texans.

  • FA Wide Receiver
    Cowboys released WR Robert Foster.
It’s a cap clearing move for the Cowboys as they try to get compliant. Foster did not play a regular season snap in 2021 and is likely only a depth option that can play special teams at this point. The Cowboys also released RB Ito Smith and DB Reggie Robinson, and the three moves combine to save about $3 million in cap space.

  • FA Defensive Back #31
Cowboys signed fourth-round CB Reggie Robinson to a four-year contract.
A former high school safety who transitioned to cornerback as a four-year starter at Tulsa, Robinson (6'1"/205) led the AAC (and finished fifth-overall in the FBS) with 17 passes defended as a redshirt senior. His strengths include his prototypical size and explosive leaps (132"), both which allowed him to body AAC wideouts across 45 games in the Golden Hurricanes’ heavy zone scheme. Unfortunately, that was AAC competition, which was far from daunting (and doesn’t translate). There are concerns he won’t be able to press against NFL talent, projecting him as a gifted project with upside.
