Roscoe Parrish abused Packers wideouts during practices in Green Bay Thursday.
At this point, Parrish is looking like the favorite to nab the third receiver role away from Josh Reed. He’s a year away from redraft league relevance unless injuries strike.
  • FA Wide Receiver #12
Roscoe Parrish led the Bills in receptions during their scrimmage with the Packers.
He’s enjoyed a great camp. At this point, he may be favored for the number three receiver role over Josh Reed.
  • FA Wide Receiver #12
The Bills fear Roscoe Parrish’s wrist is broken.
The team is not releasing news quite yet, but Parrish went to see the team doctor Thursday. A broken wrist usually takes 6-8 weeks to recover. Josh Reed would probably hold on to the third receiver role if that was the case.
  • FA Wide Receiver #12
Roscoe Parrish left Bills practice Wednesday with a wrist injury.
The extent of the injury is not yet known. Losing Parrish would be a big blow to Buffalo’s offense and special teams.
  • FA Wide Receiver #12
Bills rookie WR Roscoe Parrish underwent wrist surgery Friday.
At this point, the Bills will only say Parrish will play this season. It looks pretty clear that he’ll miss the start of the regular season, which is a big blow to Buffalo’s passing game and return units. He was expected to be the team’s third receiver.
  • FA Wide Receiver #12
Raiders agreed to terms with WR/KR Roscoe Parrish.
Parrish was just released by the Chargers on Monday. The 30-year-old is likely just insurance on punt returns in case Jacoby Ford (foot) isn’t ready for the season opener. He’ll be last on the depth chart at wide receiver.
  • FA Wide Receiver #12
Raiders waived or released WR Roscoe Parrish, RB Lonyae Miller, LB Kaelin Burnett, K Eddy Carmona, WR Derek Carrier, WR Brandon Carswell, DE Hall Davis, TE Kyle Efaw, DL Dominique Hamilton, OL Kevin Haslem, OL Nick Howell, LB Chad Kilgore, OL Dan Knapp, WR Eddie McGee, C Colin Miller, WR Travionte Session, LB Nathan Stupar, and S Curtis Taylor.
Parrish was just signed early in the week, presumably for punt-return insurance. His release suggests WR Jacoby Ford (foot) has a chance to play in the season opener.
  • FA Wide Receiver #12
Bills.com believes Roscoe Parrish will be Buffalo’s slot receiver this season.
He may have to share the job somewhat with Josh Reed, but neither player has much fantasy potential. Parrish missed most of his rookie season and should hope to be a poor man’s Dante Hall.
  • FA Wide Receiver #12
Bills placed WR/PR Roscoe Parrish (ankle) on injured reserve, ending his season.
We don’t have the details on the injury just yet, though coach Chan Gailey termed it “more long term than short term, unfortunately.” This should close the book on Parrish’s Buffalo career, as he’s a free agent after the season and the Bills have a promising player in David Nelson to fill the slot role. Nelson is neck-and-neck with Denarius Moore for this week’s top waiver addition.
  • FA Wide Receiver #12
Bills coach Chan Gailey has characterized WR Roscoe Parrish’s left ankle sprain as a long-term injury.
It sounds like Parrish could eventually head to injured reserve, but for now he’ll remain on the roster. The Bills’ slot receiver, Parrish has been outplayed by David Nelson early this season and could remain behind Nelson on the depth chart even once Parrish returns. He’s not worth holding onto in any format.
