Well known agent Mino Raiola, who represents both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho said both will be staying with their current clubs.
With Paris Saint-Germain’s current leadership facing a crossroads, it had been heavily rumored that Ibrahimovic would seek a departure from the Parc des Princes. Raiola has quieted those claims, saying “He will remain at PSG, I can rule out a return to Italy.”
That is fantastic news for PSG, a rare sight these days amid the suspension of Leonardo and the uncertainty surrounding Carlo Ancelotti.
The big Swede bagged 41 goals over all competitions for the Ligue 1 champs, and has now won 9 championships in the last 10 seasons with 6 different clubs. PSG made him the second-highest paid player in the world behind Anzhi’s Samuel Eto’o.
Raiola also said his other client Robinho will look to extend his contract at AC Milan, amid speculation he would move to Barcelona to team up with his countrymate Neymar, or head home to Santos in the Brazilian league.
Raiola said, “Robinho stays at AC Milan, this is his desire. I don’t care about what Santos want, and I know that AC Milan want to keep him. It’s easier that he extends his contract rather than leaving Milan.”
The 29-year-old striker struggled to find consistent playing time this season at Milan. He picked up 27 appearances over all competitions, but netted just twice and assisted six others. He made 23 league appearances, but just 11 of those were starts.
