It’s fascinating to see the character of player Queens Park Rangers brought into Loftus Road the past few years.
Striker Djibril Cisse has seen his contract mutually terminated at QPR, and in searching for a new club, he had thought a return home to France’s Ligue 1 would be a suitable move for him and the interested party.
Except there weren’t any interested parties.
With Cisse heavily linked to Montpellier, their chairman Louis Nicollin said emphatically, “Cisse? No, it is out of the question. I don’t want a guy who plays DJ in bars. It will not be Cisse or anyone else. We will play with (Emanuel) Herrera and (Gaetan) Charbonnier who are already at our club.”
Harsh words from the head man at Montpellier, who referred to the French international‘s hobby of laying down beats. The Lord of the Manor of Frodsham didn’t take too kindly, taking to Twitter to respond, calling Nicollin “an idiot” in addition to another dirty word, and said he feels “sorry for fans.”

“What a pity it is for a nice club like Montpellier in a beautiful city to have an idiot for a president who can do whatever he wants.”

Avoir un president aussi con ca dois pas etre facile tt les jours
“Thank you for the support but I feel sorry for the fans of Montpellier, having an a*****e for a president cannot be easy.”
Cisse, who has a clothing shop in Newcastle as well as his own fragrance, will have to continue to search for a new home at 31 years of age. He spent the last six months on loan to Qatari side Al-Gharafa SC.
