We’ve talked a lot lately about David Beckham (some good, some not so much).

And we’ve talked about Landon Donovan. With another two strikes last night, Donovan keeps climbing the scoring charts.

But perhaps a bigger slice of the Galaxy conversation pie should fall on Robbie Keane. The Irishmen needed a couple of games to get his MLS feet under him after returning from Euro 2012. But the man has himself pointed the right way now.

Keane hit another one last night as the Galaxy extended its unbeaten streak to four games with a 3-1 win over next-door neighbor Chivas USA. Here’s what Keane’s last four matches look like:

What Donovan had to say about his teammate: “He’s been fantastic. He’s creating chances for himself, he’s creating chances for others, his passing’s good, his movement’s good, and also, probably underrated, he’s been working hard defensively and helping us in that way. When he does all that, we’re pretty hard to beat.”

Highlights from last night’s win at the Home Depot Center, where the Galaxy stretched its hold on the fifth place in the West -- a critical spot, because it represent’s the conference’s final playoff berth.
