Kai Havertz looks fresh and sharp in attack and he will have the likes of Leroy Sane, Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz putting chances on a plate for him. Germany still have Manuel Neuer in goal as he’s fit again, while fellow veteran Joshua Kimmich is the captain and will hold things together in midfield. Germany did lose Bayern Munich teenager Lennart Karl to injury just before the tournament, which is a real shame as the talented attacker was set to have a breakout World Cup.

This is a team which finished above both Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago in World Cup qualifying in CONCACAF, so they should not be underestimated. Plenty of Curacao’s squad play in the Dutch Eredivisie and captain Leandro Bacuna is the heartbeat of their team with his younger brother Juninho also hugely important. Manchester United academy product Tahith Chong is a real threat breaking forward from midfield and Curacao know they will have to make the most of any chance they get on the counter.
