“Everything is still in our hands. We beat El Salvador and we’re through [to the semifinals]. This is that game that decides our destiny. I know the guys will be betrer. We are not going to panic. We’re gonna stay confident, and we’re gonna get back to work. You will see a very sharp team against El Salvador.”

Those are the words of U.S. under-23 coach Caleb Porter, who sounds like a man under control.

If his young men can fall in line, find a little more of that sharpness, dig up a little more “want-to” in some spots, they can navigate Monday’s biggie against motivated El Salvador.

From USSoccer.com, here are a few U.S. player reactions, along with some post-game words from Porter.
