Roberto Martinez is having a fabulous time of his first season at Goodison Park, where Everton has claimed such favorable positioning going into the busy holiday season. The Toffees are fifth, but just two points out of second place and a mere four points back of league-leading Arsenal.
And now the Everton first-year boss is going out of his way to heap praise onto Tim Howard for his part in the Everton’s ongoing good tidings.
(By the way, don’t look now, but Everton’s schedule over the next month is full or mid-pack teams and worse. Martinez’s side has Swansea, Sunderland, Southampton, Stoke City and West Brom before things get tougher in a late January derby with Liverpool. So, there’s real opportunity to merge into February in dandy position for a top-five finish, at least.)
