A matchup of two smaller clubs who both have impressed to start the season, as Southampton hosts Swansea City at St. Mary’s Park at 8:30am ET live online at NBC Sports Live Extra.

Southampton could go as high up as third in the table with a win and some outside help, as they seek their fourth win of the season.

Dani Osvaldo has recently stated he already wishes to leave St. Marys after just joining this summer, but he maintains the faith of manager Mauricio Ponchettino.

Jose Fonte slides in at central defense for the Saints with Danny Fox ill and unable to make the squad.

Swansea have been equally impressive to start the season, but still haven’t secured quite as many points to reflect that bright play, having been hard done by a very difficult early schedule.

The Swans sit in 14th with seven points, and a win could jump them up a rung into the top half of the table as their schedule eases up significantly in the coming month.

Michael Laudrup has restored Wilfried Bony to the starting lineup at the top ahead of Michu, allowing the Spaniard to slot back into his favorite supporting role. Michu will be rocking a Petr Cech-esque headgear after suffering a head injury midweek in Europa League play.
