Watch Live: Swansea City vs Arsenal (Lineups)

Nacho

Injury problems have forced Arsene Wenger to shift Nacho Monreal into a center-back role as Arsenal looks to leap back into the top four.

They’ll do so on the road against Swansea live on NBCSN at 11am ET or live online at NBC Sports Live Extra.

With Laurent Koscielny out for a month with tendonitis, Monreal is in the middle alongside Per Mertesacker, with Calum Chambers remaining on the right. Chambers has deputized in the middle before, but Wenger has chosen the Spaniard to move over instead.

He will look to keep Wilfried Bony at bay, who has three goals in his last three games for Swansea. Despite that goalscoring form, the Swans have won just one of their last seven games and sit in seventh position after spending much of the early season in the top four.

Garry Monk has made three changes to his Swansea lineup from last weekend’s 0-0 draw at Everton, all forced, with Jonjo Shelvey and Wayne Routledge the biggest misses. Shelvey must sit thanks to his sending off, while Routledge has picked up a groin injury.

Nathan Dyer also misses out thanks to an injury, so Monk has brought in Tom Carroll, Kyle Bartley, and Marvin Emnes. Carroll will partner with Ki Sung-Yeung as they look to replace the suspended Shelvey. Bartley is a former Arsenal youth product.

Lukaz Fabianski starts in goal for Swansea, another Swan playing against his former club.
