The rivalry will be renewed on Halloween, October 31, and Dortmund will seek to end Bayern’s recent dominance of the derby. They’ll wait more than four months for the return engagement.
The sides met in the German SuperCup in August, with Bayern beating 10-man Dortmund 2-1. That marked five-straight Klassikers without a Dortmund win, as the Bavarians have three wins and two draws in that span.
