Packers selected Georgia DT Warren Brinson with the No. 198 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Warren Brinson (6’5, 315) is an explosive, rotational interior lineman who flashed upside across Georgia’s dominant front. The massive trench mover with 33.5” arms and a 9.10 RAS checks the physical boxes and tested exceptionally well with a 5.09 40-yard dash and elite 9’7” broad jump. After four years as a reserve, he cracked the rotation in 2023–2024, notching 47 tackles, 9 TFLs, and 4 sacks across 25 games with eight starts. He’s at his best as a one-gap penetrator who can bend, burst, and win with swipe/swim moves. His bull rush has some pop when he stays low, and he flashes disruptive traits in pursuit. However, Brinson’s snap anticipation is middling, and his high pad level and inconsistent hand usage limit his pass rush finish. Though not a lock to be a high-volume NFL contributor, Brinson’s size, movement skills, and disruptive flashes make him an enticing target for attacking fronts.

Georgia four-star 2020 verbal DT commit Warren Brinson said that his recruitment is “kind of, sort of done.”
Brinson (6'4/301) committed to Georgia at the beginning of June and has had no second thoughts on that decision in the interim. That said, the lineman still plans on making use of his official visits, saying that USC, Auburn and Florida are three programs he would like to further check out beyond the Bulldogs. As for his Georgia official, he is eyeing a potential trip to Athens for the team’s big primetime showdown with Notre Dame on Sept. 21. On the 247Sports composite board, Brinson lands as the No. 326 overall prospect in the 2020 class.

Brinson just wrapped up his trip to Athens, and the IMG Academy product apparently saw enough to feel good about signing with Georgia. The early signing period begins on December 18.
