  • HOU 3rd Baseman #1

This is just a brutal blow for an Astros team, whose starting rotation has also been ransacked by injuries. Correa felt a pop while taking a swing during pregame batting practice on Tuesday and went down in pain. The recovery time for this injury is 6 to 8 months, so he should be able to return for the start of the 2027 season. In the meantime, Isaac Paredes will become a full-time player at third base for the Astros and should be picked up in any leagues where he is still on the waiver wires.
  • CIN Relief Pitcher #15
This didn’t look good at all. Pagán hobbled off the mound and went to the ground clutching his left hamstring after throwing his first pitch of the ninth inning of a tie ballgame. The 34-year-old was carted off the field after several minutes. There should be an update on his status prior to Wednesday’s contest, but it certainly looks like an injured list situation. Tony Santillan or Graham Ashcraft would likely be next up for saves in Cincinnati.
  • MIA Catcher #34
Hicks drilled a two-run single to right-center field against Orioles starter Chris Bassitt with two outs in the second inning before taking reliever Grant Wolfram deep for his eighth round-tripper of the season. The unheralded 26-year-old backstop should be able to find enough at-bats between first base and catcher to be a fantasy-relevant option in all leagues the rest of the way. He’s off to a really strong start this season, hitting .321 through 33 games. He’s currently tied with Matt Olson with a major-league leading 32 RBI during that span.
  • LAA Starting Pitcher #16
Suzuki added that Kikuchi has opted for the rest and rehabilitation route instead of undergoing shoulder surgery, which likely would’ve been season-ending. The 34-year-old southpaw, who hit the injured list with shoulder inflammation over the weekend, will need to build up his stamina and workload from the ground floor once he’s cleared to resume throwing in a couple weeks. It’s relatively safe to assume he won’t return until sometime around the All-Star break in July. It’ll be Sam Aldegheri getting the first opportunity to replace Kikuchi in Los Angeles’ rotation when he takes the ball against the White Sox on Tuesday night.
  • PHI Relief Pitcher #59
Duran reclaims his spot as Philadelphia’s closer, with interim stopper Brad Keller shifting back to a setup role, after missing just over two weeks recovering from an oblique strain. The flame-throwing 28-year-old has recorded five saves to accompany a sparkling 1.35 ERA and 8/0 K/BB ratio across 6 2/3 innings this season. He’ll be active for Tuesday’s showdown against the Athletics at Citizens Bank Park.
  • BOS Left Fielder #19
Red Sox interim manager Chad Tracy told reporters there are no plans to place Anthony on the injured list after he was evaluated by a hand specialist on Tuesday. The 21-year-old prodigy figures to miss a couple additional games this week, including the club’s final two games in Detroit. However, he isn’t facing an extended absence, which is an extremely positive development after there was some real concern initially. There should be a definitive return timetable at some point later this week.
  • SEA Catcher #29
Raleigh is back at DH following a three-game absence due to right side tightness. It’s an extremely encouraging development for Seattle, and fantasy managers, after there was real concern he would require a trip to the injured list. The 29-year-old backstop has gotten off to a frosty start at the plate after breaking nearly every conceivable offensive record for a catcher last year, but he still has supplied seven homers, 18 RBI and two steals in 33 games this season.
  • DET Starting Pitcher #29
The widely-held expectation is that Skubal is facing a roughly three-month absence, which would keep him on the shelf until the All-Star break in mid-July. However, the Tigers are expected to provide a definitive timetable following the procedure. The 29-year-old back-to-back AL Cy Young Award winner had been pitching with loose bodies in his elbow all season, but the issue finally became unmanageable last week, which led to the decision to have surgery. There should be an official return timeline at some point later this week.
  • MIN Starting Pitcher #41
It’s the best-case scenario for Minnesota, and fantasy managers, as Ryan was able to play catch without any issues on Tuesday and is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Wednesday. There’s a strong possibility the 29-year-old upper-echelon fantasy starter is ready to take the ball against the Guardians on Saturday after leaving his previous outing with elbow soreness. There should be a definitive update on his status for his next start following Wednesday’s bullpen session.
  • NYY 1st Baseman #22
This is now the second straight game that Rice has missed since suffering a “contusion” in Sunday’s game. The Yankees have not put him on the injured list, so he could return later this week. For now, Paul Goldschmidt will continue to play first base.
