Ben Roethlisberger wants three things this offseason: a new contract, a big receiver, and the Steelers to re-sign G Alan Faneca.
The third wish is very unlikely to happen, but he’s expected to get a new deal, possibly in the six-year, $70 million range. Big Ben has wanted a tall wideout since Plaxico Burress got away. James Hardy (Indiana), Adarius Bowman (Oklahoma State), and Malcolm Kelly (Oklahoma) will be available in April.
  • CLG Wide Receiver
Oklahoma State WR Adarius Bowman reportedly ran a 4.76 forty at his Pro Day.
Bowman’s offseason began with consistent drops at the Senior Bowl. He’s also consistently run in the 4.7s at the Combine and now on his home turf.
  • CLG Wide Receiver
Undrafted wide receiver Adarius Bowman erupted for 112 yards and a touchdown on six catches in his debut for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
His 73-yard TD clinched Saskatchewan’s win over the Edmonton Eskimos. If Bowman keeps this up, it’ll only be a matter of time before he’s getting calls from NFL teams. He was a first-day prospect coming out before appearing to self destruct with awful workouts and an arrest for marijuana possession.
  • CLG Wide Receiver
Adarius Bowman’s 4.78 forty at the NFL Combine could force teams to look at him as an H-back, according to NFL Network’s Mike Mayock.
Bowman is a physical threat (6'3, 223) but H-backs simply don’t go too high on draft day.
  • CLG Wide Receiver
Oklahoma State WR Adarius Bowman was arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana Tuesday night.
He was released after posting $500 bond. This will just about crush his draft value, if Bowman even had any left after running in the high 4.7s at both his Pro Day and the Combine. Bowman had marijuana-related issues at North Carolina early in his college career. They caused him to transfer to OSU.
  • CLG Wide Receiver
Undrafted Oklahoma State WR Adarius Bowman remains unsigned.
Internet reports last week indicated that the Eagles signed Bowman to a rookie deal, but that turned out to be false. Bowman, who was arrested and pled guilty in April to marijuana possession, may have to try another league.
  • CLG Wide Receiver
Undrafted wide receiver Adarius Bowman will participate in the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ rookie camp.
Bowman’s NFL career stopped before it started when he ran 4.74 at the Combine and followed up with a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge in April. His substandard speed shouldn’t be such a problem in the Canadian ranks.
  • CLG Wide Receiver
Former Oklahoma State WR Adarius Bowman signed a contract with the CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders after his tryout on Wednesday.
Bowman, seen as a potential first-round pick coming out of OSU, will probably have to stay out of trouble and excel in Canada for a year or two before getting a shot in the NFL. We’ll make sure to keep track of his career.
  • CLG Wide Receiver
Oklahoma State WR Adarius Bowman pleaded guilty late last week to marijuana possession in a McMinn General Sessions court.
At least he’s honest. Bowman was given a delayed sentence of 12 months in jail. The 6'4/220-pound wideout looked like a first- or second-round pick coming out of OSU, but has had easily the worst offseason of any prospect.
