    Brewers released RHP Alec Bettinger.
Bettinger made four appearances (one start) last year for the Brewers and has recorded a lackluster 6.49 ERA, 1.79 WHIP and 21/21 K/BB ratio across 34 2/3 innings this season at Triple-A Nashville. The 27-year-old righty, who was removed from Milwaukee’s 40-man roster back in May, should be able to find a new opportunity on a minor league contract.

Brewers outrighted RHP Alec Bettinger to Triple-A Nashville.
Bettinger is now off the 40-man roster and can either report back to Triple-A Nashville, or test the waters of free agency.

  • MLB Outfield #3
Brewers optioned OF Corey Ray, LHP Angel Perdomo, C Mario Feliciano and RHP’s Alec Bettinger and Dylan File to Triple-A Nashville.
Ray is the most prominent inclusion among the Brewers’ first round of spring training cuts. The 27-year-old outfielder, who was selected fifth overall in the 2016 MLB Draft, got into just one game last season at the major-league level. Perdomo, Bettinger and File are expected to serve as organizational pitching depth this season.

Brewers optioned RHP Alec Bettinger to Triple-A Nashville.
With Freddy Peralta returning from the injured list on Friday, the Brewers were forced to send out another pitcher and it looks like Bettinger drew the short straw. The 26-year-old owns an unappealing 13.50 ERA and 2.10 WHIP in 10 innings with the big league club this season.

Brewers recalled RHP Alec Bettinger from Triple-A Nashville.
Bettinger will be available out of the bullpen for the Brew Crew on Thursday afternoon in San Francisco. The 26-year-old has allowed a whopping 15 earned runs through his first 10 major league innings this season.

Brewers optioned RHP Alec Bettinger to Triple-A Nashville.
The 25-year-old hurler had just joined the Brewers on Thursday, where he fired 20 pitches and allowed one run on two hits in his inning against the Pirates. He’ll continue to bide his time at Triple-A until he’s needed again. Hoby Milner was recalled from Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Brewers recalled RHP Alec Bettinger from Triple-A Nashville.
Bettinger takes the place of Aaron Ashby, who was awful in his MLB debut. The right-hander has not been much better in his time with the Brewers with a 14.00 ERA, and has no fantasy relevance.

Brewers optioned RHP Alec Bettinger to Triple-A Nashville.
The 25-year-old right-hander has been on a shuttle between Nashville and Milwaukee all season, pitching to a 14.00 ERA over nine innings in the majors and a 0.00 ERA across five frames on the farm.

Brewers optioned RHP Alec Bettinger to Triple-A Nashville.
The 25-year-old served as the 27th man for the Brewers doubleheader against the Nationals on Saturday. Bettinger did not see any action during the twin bill and will head back to Triple-A with a 14.00 ERA, which is mostly due to a four-inning performance on May 2 in which the right-hander allowed 11 runs to the Dodgers.

Alec Bettinger will serve as the 27th man for the Brewers in Saturday’s doubleheader against the Nationals.
Bettinger has allowed a whopping 14 runs on 16 hits with a 5/3 K/BB ratio across nine innings over three appearances (one start) at the major-league level this season. He’ll likely head back to Triple-A Nashville at the conclusion of the twin-billing.
