Moore has the versatility New England values with the ability to play both corner and safety. Silvestro is an undrafted rookie. Fuller was signed just a few days ago. He must have not looked very good in the practice field.

News that makes Bill Belichick’s 11th hour decision to cut Tiquan Underwood and sign Silvestro more baffling. A rookie free agent this season, Silvestro will be facing an uphill battle to earn a 2012 roster spot.

An undrafted rookie out of Rutgers, Silvestro was promoted off the practice squad last week, but was held off the stat-sheet in Saturday’s win. He’s unlikely to earn a roster spot next summer.

Silvestro is the only one with NFL experience, playing in one game for the 2011 Patriots. All five players ended the season on the practice squad.
