Bryant’s fantasy value is marginal at best right now.

Bryant is worth a roster spot in deeper leagues, in case he wins a starting job in Cleveland eventually.

We think the Browns got the better end of the deal. Cleveland needs a big receiver like Byrant to complement Dennis Northcutt and deep threat Andre Davis. Bryant and Northcutt will likely rotate at the No. 2/No. 3 WR spot to start. Still, we wouldn’t expect a big change in production for Bryant. The Cleveland passing game is spotty at best.

He has some upside in fantasy leagues as a reserve receiver. The Browns don’t have anyone else to throw to except Dennis Northcutt and Aaron Shea.

Both players spoke glowingly of the other after yesterday’s game. Bryant is the first Browns receiver since 1989 to post back-to-back 100-yard games.

Bryant’s Dallas career could be in jeopardy after this outburst. The third-year receiver was complaining about the number of reps he was getting, Parcells told him to shut up, then Bryant slammed his pads to the ground and had to be restrained by teammates. The ‘Boys would incur a minimal cap hit if they released Bryant. Considering the thin depth at wide receiver, we would bet against it.

Bryant was involved in a heated altercation with coach Bill Parcells. Most sources assume Bryant will be released, but his tiny cap hit and the terrible receivers behind him may cause the Cowboys to give him another chance.

It looks like his starter job is locked up. ''What’s impressed me the most is his consistency,’' Browns coach Romeo Crennel said. The Browns passing attack figures to struggle, but we like Bryant to out-gain rookie Braylon Edwards.
