Coach Butch Davis is tempering expectations for wide receiver Antonio Bryant this weekend.
“I would not want to put a great deal of expectations on the kid,” the coach said. “We just want him to start feeling comfortable with the way we do things.” Bryant may have a chance to make plays with Andre Davis possibly out this weekend.

WR Antonio Bryant’s sprained left ankle is fine according to head coach Bill Parcells.
Bryant’s fantasy value is marginal at best right now.
  • FA Wide Receiver #84
Antonio Bryant is expected to play this weekend for the Browns.
Bryant could play a large role if Andre Davis is unable to play. Bryant isn’t a bad pickup in deep leagues.
  • FA Wide Receiver #84
Antonio Bryant will likely serve as Cleveland’s No. 3 receiver this weekend.
Bryant is worth a roster spot in deeper leagues, in case he wins a starting job in Cleveland eventually.

Browns acquired Antonio Bryant in exchange for Quincy Morgan.
We think the Browns got the better end of the deal. Cleveland needs a big receiver like Byrant to complement Dennis Northcutt and deep threat Andre Davis. Bryant and Northcutt will likely rotate at the No. 2/No. 3 WR spot to start. Still, we wouldn’t expect a big change in production for Bryant. The Cleveland passing game is spotty at best.

Antonio Bryant is likely to get his first start this weekend for the Browns.
He has some upside in fantasy leagues as a reserve receiver. The Browns don’t have anyone else to throw to except Dennis Northcutt and Aaron Shea.
  • FA Wide Receiver #84
Antonio Bryant and QB Luke McCown appear to have a chemistry.
Both players spoke glowingly of the other after yesterday’s game. Bryant is the first Browns receiver since 1989 to post back-to-back 100-yard games.

Antonio Bryant was involved in a brief altercation with coach Bill Parcells yesterday.
Bryant’s Dallas career could be in jeopardy after this outburst. The third-year receiver was complaining about the number of reps he was getting, Parcells told him to shut up, then Bryant slammed his pads to the ground and had to be restrained by teammates. The ‘Boys would incur a minimal cap hit if they released Bryant. Considering the thin depth at wide receiver, we would bet against it.

Antonio Bryant did not practice with the Cowboys yesterday, but the team has not yet decided what they will do with him.
Bryant was involved in a heated altercation with coach Bill Parcells. Most sources assume Bryant will be released, but his tiny cap hit and the terrible receivers behind him may cause the Cowboys to give him another chance.
  • FA Wide Receiver #84
Antonio Bryant has stood out from the receiver pack in Cleveland during training camp.
It looks like his starter job is locked up. ''What’s impressed me the most is his consistency,’' Browns coach Romeo Crennel said. The Browns passing attack figures to struggle, but we like Bryant to out-gain rookie Braylon Edwards.
