Stonetastic, Create a Dream win $100,000 stakes at Belmont

NEW YORK -- Stonetastic and Create a Dream won the $100,000 distaff stakes on Sunday at Belmont Park.

Stonetastic was the front-running winner at 1-2 in the Pumpkin Pie for sprinters.

Paco Lopez rode for trainer Kelly Breen as the gray 5-year-old beat Saharan by 2 3/4 lengths in 1:09.51 for the six furlongs.

Stonetastic posted her eighth victory in 21 starts, paying $3.10 to win.

Create a Dream rallied five wide to take the Chelsey Flower for 2-year-olds by 1 1/2 lengths over Beat the Benchmark as the 2-1 choice.

Javier Castellano was aboard for trainer Chad Brown as Create a Dream improved to 2 for 4. She ran the mile on the turf in 1:37.52, paying $6.60 to win.
