We last heard from Johnson when he was placed on I.R. before the 2012 season with a shoulder injury. He missed all of 2011 with a torn Achilles’ and most of 2010 with a knee issue. Johnson has 4.42 wheels at 5-foot-11, 182.

Tom Coughlin said he is “not ready to comment” yet on whether Johnson’s season is over. The former undrafted free agent out of Miami has five tackles in six appearances this season.
