Jaguars signed WR Chandler Brayboy, QB Carter Bradley, G Jerome Carvin, TE Patrick Herbert, RB Ja’Quinden Jackson, WR Tim Jones, T Ricky Lee, DB Keni-H Lovely, DB Jabbar Muhammad, DT Keivie Rose, DB Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig, DB Trevian Thomas, WR Austin Trammell, G Sal Wormley and T Kilian Zierer to reserve/futures contracts.
We at Rotoworld are dedicated to giving you all the Chandler Brayboy and Keni-H Lovely updates we can. Here’s what we know: They both signed reserve/futures contracts after spending all year on the Jaguars practice squad. That’s all we got. More to come later.
  • FA Running Back #30
    49ers released RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn.
The veteran back didn’t play in the preseason at all despite the amount of injuries the 49ers running back room dealt with. He’s a likely practice squad candidate after playing with the 49ers last season. The 49ers also waived/injured QB Carter Bradley and QB Tanner Mordecai, while waiving (regular) DL Jaylon Allen and DL Shakel Brown. Finally, they sent OL Isaiah Prince to injured reserve.
  • FA Quarterback #14
    Raiders waived QB Carter Bradley.
Bradley joined the Raiders last offseason as a rookie UDFA and spent all of last season on the practice squad before being promoted to the 53-man roster in December. The former South Alabama Jaguar didn’t attempt a pass in his rookie season and will now look to catch on with another team ahead of training camp in hopes of battling for a roster spot. Bradley may be better suited for a spring football league where he would have an opportunity for more playing time.
  • LV Quarterback
Raiders signed South Alabama QB Carter Bradley.
Bradley (6’3/218) transferred to South Alabama after riding the pine for four seasons at Toledo. He immediately threw for 3,335-28-12 in his first season as a starter in 2022, and ran things back in 2023 with a line of 2,650-19-7 in 11 games. A 3.8 percent turnover worthy play rate during his two seasons as a starter is mildly concerning, and he struggled to avoid sacks when pressured. Despite being a late breakout and six-year prospect, teams will be intrigued by Bradley’s two years of production and could give him a chance to develop on a practice squad this offseason.
  • JAC Quarterback #10
Former Toledo redshirt sophomore QB Carter Bradley transferred to South Alabama.
Bradley (6'3/215) came into Toledo as a high three-star recruit that battled Eli Peters for reps in 2019 and 2020 before entering the 2022 season in a timeshare with Dequan Finn. He started each of the first 6 games this year while ceding reps to Finn before being overtaken by his understudy, throwing just four passes from Week 7 on. For his career, Bradley completed 180-of-325 passes for a 55 percent completion rate, 2,364 yards, 14 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He will take over for the graduated Jake Bentley as the favorite to start at quarterback for the Jaguars next season.

  • Dequan Finn
    TOL #7
Toledo freshman QB Dequan Finn is taking the first-team snaps ahead of Saturday’s game against Central Michigan.
It appears that there has been a changing of the guard at Toledo, with Finn (6'2/207) now being the first choice to lead the Rockets offense. Sophomore Carter Bradley began the season at Toledo’s starter, but the two split reps during last weekend’s game against Northern Illinois. And now it will be Finn who gets the nod, starting against the program that he originally committed to.

  • JAC Quarterback #10
Toledo sophomore QB Carter Bradley completed 10-of-18 passes for 144 yards, a touchdown, and an interception in a 22-12 win over Ball State on Saturday.
Bradley (6'3/215) didn’t need to do much today, as the running game carried the team. The Rockets rushed for 272 yards and 6.2 yards per carry on the day, taking the pressure off of Bradley. Next week, Bradley looks to get the momentum rolling even more as the Rockets take on Massachusetts.

  • JAC Quarterback #10
Toledo sophomore QB Bradley throws for 254 yards and zero touchdowns in a 20-6 loss against Colorado State.
Bradley (6'3"/215) and the Rockets had so much momentum after almost upsetting Notre Dame on the road, but it looks like they left that energy in South Bend. Both Toledo and CO State could not get any offense going. We did not see a single touchdown in this game, just field goals and a punt return touchdown. Toledo can regroup and get their season back on track with an in-conference game against Ball State next week, then they face the University of Massachusetts who currently have a 13-game losing streak.

  • JAC Quarterback #10
Toledo redshirt sophomore QB Carter Bradley completed 18-of-33 passes for 265 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions in Saturday’s 24-23 win over Central Michigan.
Saturday’s match was a nail biter. With about a minute and a half to go, Bradley nailed a 28-yard touchdown to Jerjuan Newton, allowing Toledo to take a one-point lead following the extra point. Central Michigan were not able to respond with so little time to work with, giving the Rockets the win. On the one hand, Bradley’s three-INT day made for a wildly erratic event, but credit to him for showing up at the end when he needed to. Toledo finish the year 4-2 thanks to Bradley’s heroics.

  • JAC Quarterback #10
Toledo redshirt sophomore QB Carter Bradley completed 29-of-44 passes for 432 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions in Saturday’s 41-24 win at Northern Illinois.
While Bradley (6'3/210) was picked off twice, he managed to tally career-highs in completions, passing yards and passing touchdowns in his third appearance of the season. The redshirt sophomore was also effective on the ground, as he rushed for 44 yards on eight carries. Bradley will look to finish the 2020 season on a high note next Saturday when the Rockets host Central Michigan.
