    Packers waived OT Chris Campbell.
Though there was some talk of Campbell emerging as a viable swing tackle in Green Bay, it obviously never happened. The Eastern Illinois product could resurface with a zone-blocking team like the Dolphins or Texans before camp.
  • FA Wide Receiver #19
Packers signed WR Diondre Borel, RB Jon Hoese, DB Brandion Ross, C Sam Genus, DT Johnny Jones, and OT Chris Campbell to reserve/futures contracts.
Along with the 6'4" Tori Gurley, converted quarterback Borel was given a hefty bump in pay to turn down offers elsewhere while staying on the Packers practice squad. The two promising projects could end up competing for one roster spot with Donald Driver likely moving on from Green Bay.
  • FA Tackle #72
Redskins signed OT Chris Campbell and waived WR Darius Hanks.
Campbell had been part of the Packers’ practice squad for the last two seasons before they waived him in May. He’ll provide depth at tackle with Jammal Brown (hips) out indefinitely and three other projected offensive line starters sidelined.
  • GB Wide Receiver
Packers waived WR Charles Dillon and OL Chris Campbell.
Dillon, a former Arena League star, was competing with Brett Swain for the fifth receiver job. There are indications that the Packers may end up keeping just four receivers after all, so Swain’s job isn’t safe just yet.
  • GB Wide Receiver
Packers signed WR Antonio Robinson, WR Chastin West, OT Chris Campbell, OG Adrian Battles, DL Curtis Young, DL Jay Ross, LB Cardia Jackson, DB Michael Greco, and DB Anthony Levine to reserve/future contracts.
Robinson was signed by the Bears out of Nicholls State last offseason, but he couldn’t stay healthy in training camp after an injury-plagued college career. Campbell was handed a three-year contract, so the Packers must like him as a developmental project.
  • FA Tackle #72
Packers OT Chris Campbell is out at least two more weeks after undergoing meniscus surgery in his knee.
Campbell hasn’t practiced since suffering the injury 10 days ago. Undrafted out of Eastern Illinois, Campbell was off to a strong start in camp after spending last season on the practice squad.
