- Michigan recruit Austin Hatch, who was severely injured in a 2011 plane crash, vows to play for the Wolverines in 2013-2014. If he does, which we all hope he is able to, it will easily become the early season story of the year
- Louisville’s Luke Hancock, who transferred froM George Mason a year ago, will undergo surgery to replace his injured shoulder. The junior had to sit out last season due to NCAA regulations, but this will be the second surgery performed on his shoulder
- Jim Boeheim makes a cameo in Syracuse’s music video parody of “I’m Sexy and I know it”. (This is certainly one of the better parody videos we’ve been privy to recently)
- Speaking of the Orange, Dion Waiters loved life at Syracuse, which is kind of bizarre, because well, it’s Syracuse
- Kentucky Sports Radio wants to know who will be next season’s Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. But I think it’s farfetched to think that anybody can step in and provide all the essentials and intangibles that MKG provided
