Panthers signed No. 8 overall pick WR Tetairoa McMillan to a four-year contract.
The Panthers officially bring their X-wide receiver into the fold via a $27.93 million deal. McMillan should immediately compete for the team lead in targets and should produce fantasy-friendly results in year one. The Panthers also signed third-round OLB Princely Umanmielen, fourth-round S Lathan Ransom, fifth-round DT Cam Jackson, fifth-round TE Mitchell Evans and sixth-round WR Jimmy Horn Jr.. Dynasty managers should take note of Horn, who could eventually work his way into three-wide receiver sets.
  • CAR Defensive Tackle
Panthers selected Florida DT Cam Jackson with the No. 140 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Jackson (6’6/328) is a strong, towering nose tackle with poor athleticism (3.74 RAS) and little pass-rush utility. His run-defense chops should get him on an NFL field for first and second down, though. Jackson’s physical measurements vary source-to-source, but at minimum, he should be considered as having a 6-foot-10 wingspan and 34-inch arms. He wields his upper-body length effectively by delivering powerful punches and swimming past blockers. Jackson spent three seasons at Memphis before transferring to Florida in 2023. In his two seasons as a Florida starter, Jackson totaled just 18 quarterback pressures and two sacks but consistently stonewalled opposing rushers. Among 80 Power Five defensive tackles with at least 335 regular season run-defense snaps, Jackson ranks top 12 in stops (37) and tackles (52) via just 342 qualifying snaps.
  • CAR Defensive Tackle #92
Memphis redshirt sophomore DT CamRon Jackson has entered the transfer portal.
Jackson (6'5/280) was a three-star defensive tackle from the 2020 recruiting class who has seen minimal action since landing on campus in 2020. This past season, Jackson appeared on 69 defensive snaps per Pro Football Focus, totaling seven tackles and five quarterback pressures while also recording two sacks. A native of Haynesville, Louisiana, Jackson had received offers from Baylor, LSU, Alabama, Florida and Alabama, among other top programs, during his initial recruiting process. Now we wait to see where he could end up playing in 2022.

  • CAR Defensive Tackle #92
LSU received a verbal commit from four-star DT CamRon Jackson.
Jackson is a 6-foot-6, 272-pound defensive tackle who currently plays for Haynesville High School in Louisiana. He also was considering Alabama, and had offers from schools like Florida, Mississippi State and Texas A&M. He ranks 13th in 247 Sports composite rankings of the 2020 class, and 13th among prospects from Louisiana in what is considered a strong group for the state. It’s already the ninth four-star commit for LSU in 2020, and 247 Sports ranks their class second at this time, trailing only Alabama.
