Miami WR Stacy Coley passes on NFL, will return in 2016

Miami may be undergoing some changes in 2016 with a new coaching staff in place, but the Hurricanes will have back one of its top wide receivers next season. Stacy Coley has announced he will pass on an early shot at the NFL and return to play one more year at Miami. Coley announced his decision on his Instagram post on Sunday.

“It’s official, I decided to come back for my senior year at the University of Miami to further my education and as well as my football career,” Coley said on his Instagram post, followed by a series of emojis of money bags, hands doing “The U” and a pair of purple faces with devil horns.

Coley was second on the team with 689 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Only senior Rashawn Scott topped Coley in each category, but he did so in two more games than Coley, who only appeared in 11 of Miami’s 13 games in 2015.
