Back in the spring, Mark Stoops talked of the bright future Thaddeus Snodgrass had at Kentucky. Six months later, Snodgrass is taking that brightness elsewhere.
UK officials confirmed Wednesday that Snodgrass (pictured, center) has decided to transfer out of Stoops’ Wildcats program. No specific reason was given for the parting of ways, although Snodgrass had been listed as the No. 2 wide receiver before being dropped on the depth chart after this past weekend’s game.
A three-star member of UK’s 2014 recruiting class, Snodgrass was rated as the No. 69 receiver in the country and the No. 25 player at any position in the state of Ohio. He took a redshirt as a true freshman last season.
This season, he played in three games but had yet to catch a pass.
Thank you #BBN for the love and support and to my bros on the team go out and ball it's y'alls year!
