Oklahoma State received a verbal commitment from three-star 2019 DE Trace Ford.

This is one that the Cowboys have been angling toward for a spell, having hosted Ford on two earlier occasions over the offseason. The 6-foot-2, 218-pounder bumps Oklahoma State up to 16 pledges in the 2019 class. A two-sport athlete who has split his time between baseball and football, Ford has a fair amount of potential which remains untapped on the gridiron. 247Sports’ Zach Lancaster refers to him as a “fast-twitch athlete.”
