Browns signed CB Cornelius Brown and T Cory Brandon.
They’re just filling out their 90-man offseason roster ahead of the final few pre-training camp workouts. Brown is a third-year undrafted free agent from UTEP.
  • Wide Receiver
Chargers signed WRs Deon Butler and Dan DePalma, and DB Cornelius Brown.
They’re offseason depth. The 91st pick in the 2009 draft, Butler has the most notable name as a former Penn State Nittany Lion who ran 4.32 at the Combine. He only has 57 receptions for 611 yards (10.7 YPR) and four scores across three NFL seasons and was not tendered as a restricted free agent by Seattle.
  • FA Running Back #33
Colts waived RB Andre Brown and promoted DB Cornelius Brown from their practice squad.
Indy needs secondary reinforcements with Jerraud Powers scratched for Monday night’s game against the Texans. Andre Brown has practice squad eligibility left, so he could return in that capacity. Cornelius is a rookie.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Bears waived WR Freddie Barnes, S Quentin Scott, CB Woodny Turenne, C Tim Walter, and CB Cornelius Brown.
Barnes was one of the high-profile undrafted free agent signings after setting multiple records in Bowling Green’s spread offense. Barnes is just a borderline athlete, though, and he was no higher than seventh on the depth chart in Chicago.
  • FA Defensive Back
Colts waived/injured CB Cornelius Brown and signed S Michael Hamlin.
Hamlin was most recently with Jacksonville, so he at least has some level of familiarity with the division. Brown is a second-year undrafted DB from UTEP. He played over 200 snaps on defense last season, mostly as a slot corner.
