Saints signed Nicholls State WR Dai’Jean Dixon.
Dixon (6'3/200) played five seasons at Nicholls State, operating as a deep threat with a 14.5 career aDOT. That skill set looks unlikely to directly translate after Dixon ran just 4.62 at the Combine. However, Dixon was impressively productive with a 29% career yardage share and he was also very efficient with a career 3.08 yards per route run. Dixon played 27% of his 2021 snaps in the slot and it’s likely that he’ll make his NFL home there, but with solid size and impressive production, he could be a viable PPR option if he works into a starting role.
