    Diamondbacks released RHP Dakota Chalmers.
Chalmers spent a year and a half on 40-man rosters, mostly Minnesota’s, in 2020-21, but he’s never pitched in the majors, and he might be further than ever from that goal now. In 26 1/3 innings out of Triple-A Reno’s pen, he had a 9.57 ERA with 44 strikeouts but also 34 walks.

The Diamondbacks reassigned OF Kristian Robinson along with RHPs Luke Albright, Dakota Chalmers, Francisco Morales, Chris Rodriguez, Tristin English and LHP Brandon Hughes to minor league camp.
Robinson will start out the regular season within the D-backs minor league organization where he spent most of his time last season at Single-A Visalia. Robinson missed the first three seasons of his career due to legal issues and was once considered a top prospect for Arizona. At 23 years old, he’ll look to continue to develop his power at the plate and potentially become a 20 HR, 20 stolen base type of player.

Diamondbacks signed RHP Dakota Chalmers to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Chalmers missed the 2023 season after the Dodgers released him in late July 2022. The 27-year-old has bounced around between the Athletics, Twins, Cubs, and Dodgers organizations and was once considered a top prospect. He should provide the Diamondbacks with pitching depth in the upper level of their minor league system.

    Dodgers released RHP Dakota Chalmers.
Chalmers signed a minor league contract with the Dodgers back in late March after bouncing around between the Cubs, Twins and Athletics as a former top prospect the last few years. The 25-year-old lefty, who has yet to reach the majors, posted a disastrous 8.31 ERA, 2.62 WHIP and 15/19 K/BB ratio across 13 innings (13 appearances) this season at Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Dodgers signed RHP Dakota Chalmers to a minor league contract.
Chalmers was a highly-regarded prospect a few years ago, but has never made it to the big leagues. The 25-year-old righty split the 2021 campaign between the Cubs and Twins organizations, posting a lackluster 6.31 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 78/51 K/BB ratio across 71 1/3 innings (21 appearances, 17 starts) between the Double-A and Triple-A levels.

Cubs designated RHP Dakota Chalmers for assignment.
The Cubs just claimed Chalmers less than a week ago, but they needed to clear a spot on the 40-man roster. The reliever will now go through the waiver process again.

Cubs claimed RHP Dakota Chalmers off waivers from the Twins.
Chalmers was then optioned to Double-A Tennessee. The right-hander was designated for assignment by the Twins after ugly stats in Triple-A St. Paul, and he’ll be a reclamation project for the Chicago player-development staff.

Twins designated RHP Dakota Chalmers for assignment.
Chalmers fell victim to a roster crunch as the Twins’ needed to clear a spot on the 40-man roster to summon veteran righty Juan Minaya to the major leagues. The 24-year-old righty was a third-round selection back in 2015. He’s struggled mightily at Triple-A St. Paul this season, so there’s a strong possibility that he clears waivers and remains within the organization.

Twins purchased the contract of RHP Dakota Chalmers from Double-A Pensacola.
Chalmers is a former third-round draft pick of the Athletics who has struggled to stay healthy since entering the professional ranks. The 23-year-old threw 21 1/3 innings with High-A Fort Myers in 2019 with a 3.38 ERA, and he pitched well in the Arizona Fall League in October. It would be a surprise if he made an impact in 2020, but considering his age and profile, there still could be a bright future.

Twins RHP prospect Dakota Chalmers will start for the Salt River Rafters against the Surprise Saguaros in the Arizona Fall League’s Championship Game on Saturday.
The Rafters feature top prospects Royce Lewis of the Twins, Seth Beer of the Diamondbacks, Victor Victor Mesa of the Marlins and Colton Welker of the Rockies. Chalmers missed a big chunk of the minor league season with an elbow injury but was able to start nine games, going 2-1 with a 3.63 ERA. He struck out 48 batters in 34 2/3 innings across two levels, topping out at High-A Fort Myers. He was a third-round pick in the 2015 draft by the Athletics. He was traded from the A’s to the Twins in August of 2018 in exchange for Fernando Rodney.
