Finally, the NHL is almost caught up with all the postponed games during the most recent COVID outbreak as after this week, there will be only a handful of games left to be replayed.

It was bad in Canada as not only were there outbreaks on all teams, especially Calgary where everyone, save for Matthew Tkachuk tested positive for COVID, but provincial governments limited crowds from none in Montreal, to 500 in Toronto and Ottawa and 50 percent out West. This is changing quickly with full crowds coming to the Ontario teams come March 1.

The return to normal will help NHL revenues and that will aid both the owners and players as far of revenue sharing is concerned.

Hopefully, there will be no more postponements this season due to the virus and that next season will be a lot better for everyone.

The column will still be updated if need be, on Sunday evening before the start of a new week if there are any more postponements.
