Hits

Matt Niskanen has dished out five hits in each of his last two games. He has 120 hits in 61 contests in 2015-16. Micheal Ferland was credited with six hits on Monday and has accumulated 15 in his last four games. He has 160 hits in 51 contests this season, which puts him in a tie for 23rd place in the NHL. Colin Greening has been credited with at least three hits in all 10 of the games he’s played in this season. In total, he has 41 hits in 2015-16. Dustin Brown has dished out 16 hits in his last four games. He ranks 16th in the league with 173 hits in 62 contests.

Blocks

In fact this season has been his best in that regard with 131 blocks in 63 games. That puts him in a tie for 12th place overall. Adam McQuaid got in front of a shot on Sunday, but that ended his streak of six consecutive multi-block games. He has 87 blocks in 45 games in 2015-16. Andrej Sekera has gotten in front of 12 shots in his last five games. That’s brought him up to 123 blocks in 63 contests this season. Rookie Jaccob Slavin got in front of seven shots on Feb. 25 and has been credited with 15 blocks over his last three contests. He now has 88 blocks in 45 games in 2015-16.

Draws

Brandon Dubinsky has won at least 60% of his draws in each of his last four games. That’s brought him up to a 52.2 winning percentage this season, although it’s still down from his career faceoff success rate of 52.5%. Ryan Kesler has claimed a minimum of 65% of his draws in five of his last seven games. He has a 58.2% success rate this season. Antoine Vermette only claimed 8-of-17 faceoffs on Monday, but before that he had won 37-of-58 draws over his last three games. He has a 54.7% success rate, which is impressive but still below his career average of 55.8%. Cody Eakin won 14-of-17 faceoffs on Monday and 9-of-15 in Saturday’s contest. That’s pretty rare for him as he has a modest 48.6 winning percentage in 64 games this season and his career average is 49.1%.
