Broncos third-year WR Gerell Robinson is now listed as a tight end on the team’s offseason roster.
Signed to a futures contract in January, 24-year-old Robinson is making a position change. He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 220, so the Broncos will likely view him as a possible pass-catching backup to Julius Thomas. Robinson measured 6'3/227 at the 2012 Combine, running 4.54 with a 35 1/2-inch vertical. He’s a long shot, but with an outside chance to become a Tim Wright sort of player.
