  • INT Outfield #38
Guillermo Heredia has agreed to a one-year contract with the SSG Landers in the Korea Baseball Organization.
This deal will reportedly be for around $1 million guaranteed. Heredia had been playing with the Estrellas Orientales in the Dominican Winter League, but he’ll step away now that he has inked a deal with the Landers. The 31-year-old outfielder was non-tendered by the Braves on Friday after hitting just .158/.220/.342 with three homers and eight RBI in 82 plate appearances during the 2022 season.

  • INT Outfield #38

Heredia was designated for assignment earlier this week and will now officially hit the free agent market. The 31-year-old hit just .158 with three homers and a .562 OPS over 82 plate appearances while seeing sporadic playing time with the Braves this past season.

Braves designated OF Guillermo Heredia for assignment.
Heredia has spent the last two seasons in Atlanta as a reserve outfielder and will be arbitration-eligible for the final time this offseason. The 31-year-old outfielder will likely go unclaimed on waivers and is a non-tender candidate this offseason.

  • INT Outfield #38
Braves recalled OF Guillermo Heredia from Triple-A Gwinnett.
With Ehire Adrianza heading to the injured list -- without a designation -- Heredia will add some depth on the Braves bench for at least a couple of days. The 31-year-old has hit just .138/.211/.338 with three homers and six RBI in 71 plate appearances with the Braves this season.

  • FA Left Fielder #14
Adam Duvall has left Saturday’s game against the Angels in the third inning.
No word as of yet as to why he’s out of the game. Guillermo Heredia has taken over for the power-hitting outfielder. There should be an update on Duvall’s status in the coming innings.

  • INT Outfield #38
Guillermo Heredia went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday’s 3-2 win over the Athletics.
Stepping up to the plate with the game tied at 2-2 in the bottom of the seventh, Heredia hit a 383-foot solo home run off of Lou Trivino. The 31-year-old is slashing .140/.218/.400 with three home runs through 55 plate appearances.

  • INT Outfield #38
Guillermo Heredia hit a two-run homer and walked against the Mets on Wednesday.
Heredia giveth and taketh away, having robbed Jeff McNeil of at least a double on a great catch at the wall in right field today. Not bad for a guy who was a late insertion into the lineup because Travis Demeritte was tired after playing 18 innings Tuesday.

  • MLB Outfield #48
Travis Demeritte has been scratched from the Braves’ lineup on Wednesday.
It’s not exactly clear what’s ailing Demeritte, but he was spotted leaving the Braves’ clubhouse with a trainer on Wednesday morning. Guillermo Heredia is now playing right field and batting ninth in Wednesday’s matinee game versus the Mets and right-hander Tylor Megill.
