Lions signed Ohio CB Ian Wells.
Wells (5'11/199) was a 3 1/2-year starter in the Bobcats’ secondary, breaking out as a senior to earn second-team All-MAC from the conference’s coaches with ten pass breakups and two interceptions. His stock rose at Ohio’s Pro Day, running 4.49 with a 41-inch vertical and 11-foot-4 broad jump. Wells’ college production was marginal, but he has plus size and terrific athleticism and is worth a developmental flyer.
