Texans RB Jawhar Jordan (ankle) was removed from the injury report and will play in the Divisional Round against the Patriots.
Jordan practiced fully on Friday, which is a great sign. He was unable to play in the Wild Card Round after injuring his ankle in Week 18. We expect Jordan to handle No. 2 rushing duties behind starting RB Woody Marks, though Marks could ultimately dominate touches.

Texans RB Jawhar Jordan (ankle) was limited in Thursday’s practice.
Two sessions would seemingly give him a real chance to suit up, though it’s unclear if the Texans would make him the No. 2 back ahead of Nick Chubb after Chubb’s output against the Steelers last Monday night. Jordan is probably trending towards a questionable tag on Friday.

Texans RB Jawhar Jordan (ankle) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Jordan suffered an ankle injury in Week 18 which caused him to miss the Wild Card win over the Steelers. The 26-year-old played well in a reserve role and was the Texans’ RB2 in Week 18 with Nick Chubb a healthy scratch. A limited practice session early in the week indicates Jordan is trending to return in the Divisional Round against the Patriots, though the Texans may keep both Jordan and Chubb active behind Woody Marks if Jordan is not fully healthy.

Texans ruled out RB Jawhar Jordan (ankle) for the Wildcard Round against the Steelers.
Jordan injured his ankle in Week 18 and failed to practice all week, eventually ruled out with the ailment. That leaves very little depth behind starting rookie Woody Marks, who could find himself in a workhorse role for the team’s Wildcard matchup against the Steelers. Nick Chubb appears likely to operate as the primary change of pace option while Dare Ogunbowale could rotate in on obvious passing situations.

Texans RB Jawhar Jordan (ankle) did not practice Friday.
He looks incredibly unlikely to go based on the reporting that he suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 18. Nick Chubb will probably be a pure fill-in back on a few downs for the Texans behind Woody Marks on Monday night, making Marks a high-volume play for DFS or Playoff Best Ball purposes.

Texans RB Jawhar Jordan (ankle) did not practice on Thursday.
NBC Sports Houston’s Aaron Wilson reported this morning that testing confirms Jordan suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 18 against the Colts. He was unsurprisingly unable to practice on Thursday. The Texans face the Steelers on Monday. Veteran RB Nick Chubb would get his old job back as the team’s No. 2 rusher if Jordan cannot play.

Jawhar Jordan rushed five times for three yards in the Texans’ Week 18 win over the Colts
The more noteworthy bit is that Jordan played ahead of Nick Chubb, who was a healthy scratch in Week 18. Jordan could wind up being Houston’s No. 2 back in the playoffs. He’s more of an outside zone specialist than someone the Texans trust all the time, but Jordan undoubtedly has more physical upside than Chubb at this point.

Jawhar Jordan rushed eight times for 36 yards in the Texans’ Week 17 win over the Chargers.
Jordan out-snapped veteran RB Nick Chubb 11-to-5 and out-touched him 8-to-1 against the Chargers on Saturday. After starting RB Woody Marks took a hard hit from Chargers OLB Khalil Mack in the fourth quarter, it was Jordan, not Chubb, who replaced Marks briefly in the lineup. He is the Texans’ No. 2 running back and should be stashed accordingly.

Jawhar Jordan rushed 15 times for 53 yards in the Texans’ Week 16 win over the Raiders
He added 17 yards on five catches on his five targets, a performance some are calling “one catch short of a Rex Burkhead.” Jordan got the majority of the carries, but was held just under half the offensive snaps at 30 of 62 per PFF’s early data. It wasn’t particularly impressive, but Jordan was weighed down by a few ghastly Nick Caley calls that were dead on arrival. Jordan will only be a FLEX play next week if he retains this role, but Woody Marks (ankle) probably has a real chance to play in Week 17.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports Woody Marks (ankle) is not expected to play in Week 16 against the Raiders.
As Rapoport notes, expect plenty of Nick Chubb, who is expected to play through a rib injury today. Chubb should indeed lead the backfield, but it wouldn’t be surprising for Jawhar Jordan to see some work as well. Jordan ran for 101 yards on 15 carries with Marks going down early last week. As the top back versus a dead-on-arrival Raiders squad, Chubb is in the RB3 ranks for Week 16. Jordan is a high-risk RB4.
