Bills signed DL Jay Ross and OL David Snow off of the team’s practice squad.
Ross was needed after Mark Anderson’s knee injury. He has bounced around practice squads since entering the league in 2010. Buffalo has ruled out three offensive linemen for Sunday’s game in Arizona, so Snow’s depth is badly needed. Snow is an undrafted rookie free agent out of Texas.

Bills waived DL Jay Ross and OL David Snow.
Both Ross and Snow were promoted from the practice squad on Saturday, but only Ross was active for Buffalo’s win over the Cardinals. Provided they clear waivers, they’ll likely be stashed back on the practice squad.

    Bills re-signed DT Jay Ross.
Ross was waived two Tuesdays ago. His return is a sign the Bills are worried about the status of at least one of Mario Williams (ankle) and Marcell Dareus (ankle) for Week 4.

    Bills waived DT Jay Ross.
CB Johnny Adams was promoted from the practice squad in a corresponding move. A third-year undrafted free agent, Ross’ lone career appearance came in 2012.

    Bills waived DT Jay Ross.
Yo-yoing on and off the roster this season, Ross had one tackle in five games. He had played only 49 snaps on defense.
  • NO Tight End
Saints waived TE Tyler Lorenzen, CB Reggie Jones, FB Zak Keasey, and DTs Jay Ross and DeMario Pressley.
Pressley is perhaps the group’s biggest surprise, as he racked up a solid 15 tackles in seven games off the bench down last season’s stretch. Lorenzen and Ross were undrafted free agents. Jones and Keasey were practice bodies.

    Packers waived DE Jay Ross.
In somewhat related news, the Packers also announced that Jarius Wynn will be their starting right end in the opener against the Saints. He got the nod over Mike Neal and C.J. Wilson. Ross was buried behind all of them and LE Ryan Pickett. Undrafted out of East Carolina, Ross is a practice squad possibility.
