Jules Bernard led the Wizards with 17 points (5-for-8 FGs), six rebounds, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers in a 90-85 loss to Chicago.
Bernard has hardly played this summer, but in the finale, he got the chance to play big minutes, which led to a big-time performance by him. He went undrafted in the 2022 draft and spent last season with the Capital City Go-Gos. He’ll likely be in the G-League again next season, but a good performance out of him is encouraging.
