Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 32 points (8-of-19 FGs, 13-of-18 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, three 3-pointers and five turnovers in a 108-106 loss to the Grizzlies on Monday.

Edwards’ scoring tear continued in this game, and he has now scored at least 28 points and hit at least three 3-pointers in five straight games, which includes three games with at least 30 points during this stretch. Edwards had a chance for more on his game-winning attempt from beyond the arc, but it fell short. Unfortunately, his scoring bump has come with a lot of turnovers, and he has at least five in five of their last six games. Managers should expect more of the same in Dallas on Wednesday.

Naz Reid provided a boost off the bench with 29 points (11-of-20 FGs), eight rebounds, one assist and five 3-pointers against Memphis on Monday.

Reid had a massive night off the bench in this game and set a new season-high for scoring. He also extended his streak of games with at least 10 points to nine games, which is his longest streak of the season. This has been a strong stretch of play for him, and he has provided top-50 value in 9-cat leagues over the last two weeks. This was the first game of a three-game week for Minnesota, though they have a four-game week after that. That is plenty of time for Reid to continue putting up excellent numbers.

With Donte DiVincenzo (toe) out indefinitely, Mike Conley has made a return to the starting lineup. That has opened the door for Dillingham to enter the rotation, and he played well in this game. Chris Finch still opted to roll with Conley in the closing lineup, which prevented Dillingham from having a bigger night. Over their last three games, he has seen minutes in the mid-teens, which hasn’t been enough time for him to provide standard league value. However, these performances have been encouraging, especially for dynasty managers. We’ll see if he can continue to carve out a larger role moving forward.

DiVincenzo is set to miss an extended period of time after being promoted into a starting spot in Minnesota. His absence will make way for Nickeil Alexander-Walker and Rob Dillingham to contribute more off the bench.

Gobert rolled his ankle against the Cavaliers Saturday, though the 32-year-old center was able to finish the game. While Gobert is listed as questionable Monday against the Grizzlies, he hasn’t missed many games this season.

Edwards produced a nice point total on Saturday, but the Cavaliers made him work much harder than the Knicks did on Friday. The Timberwolves star shot below 50% from the field, but the good news is that Ant-Man kept the turnovers (two) in check and recorded a complete stat line. Over the past two weeks, Edwards has provided top-20 value in 9-cat formats. The Timberwolves play three games during Week 13, starting with Memphis on Monday.

Rudy Gobert played 31 minutes in Saturday’s loss to Cleveland, finishing with 17 points (6-of-7 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), 12 rebounds, and one assist.

While double-doubles have been somewhat common for Gobert, Saturday’s point total was a departure from the norm. The 17 points are the most he’s tallied in a game since December 29, when he hit that number in a win over the Spurs. Gobert remains a top-100 player for the season, but the value has decreased over the past month (13th-round). He’ll look to build on Saturday’s performance when the Timberwolves face Memphis on Monday.
Julius Randle

Julius Randle shot 7-of-12 from the field and 5-of-7 from the foul line in Saturday’s loss to Cleveland, scoring 20 points with 14 rebounds, nine assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes.

After slipping into the background in Friday’s win over the Knicks, Randle was far more aggressive offensively on Saturday. Of course, Cleveland not having Evan Mobley helped, but give Randle credit for providing solid value across the board. He finished one assist shy of what would have been his first triple-double of the season, and Randle has been a top-100 player over the past two weeks. Minnesota plays three games during Week 13, starting with Memphis on Monday.
