Friday’s game will be Edwards’ second on the sidelines as he sits due to right foot injury maintenance. Mike Conley moved into the starting lineup and should retain that role, but Edwards’ absence also enhances Bones Hyland’s value. If fantasy managers are seeking a streaming option, Hyland is the superior choice.

With Anthony Edwards (foot) sidelined, Hyland played 21 minutes off the bench, played aggressively and dropped a season-high 23 points. The 25-year-old point guard hasn’t been a consistent enough scorer to even say he’s a worthwhile streamer while Edwards is out, though Tuesday’s performance was certainly encouraging.

Julius Randle had 29 points (12-of-18 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, six assists, one steal and four three-pointers in the Timberwolves’ 139-106 victory over the Bucks on Tuesday.

The Timberwolves were without Anthony Edwards (foot) Tuesday, but the lineup didn’t play like they missed him. Randle led the way with 29 points and filled out his monster stat line with eight rebounds, six assists and four three-pointers. Minnesota led 76-45 at halftime and improved to 27-14 with the 139-106 victory. Randle has provided 10th-round per game value over the last two weeks. The Timberwolves are back in action Friday to take on the Rockets.

Mike Conley, Donte DiVincenzo, Jaden McDaniels, Julius Randle and Naz Reid will start against the Bucks on Tuesday.

With Rudy Gobert serving a suspension and Anthony Edwards (foot) sidelined, both Conley and Reid will enter the starting unit for Minnesota. Reid has been excellent off the bench all season and will start for the first time this year. This will be Conley’s seventh start, though he hasn’t been productive for fantasy managers.

The 24-year-old shooting guard has already been ruled out for Tuesday’s game for right foot injury maintenance. Bones Hyland and Mike Conley are likely to see increased roles with Edwards sidelined.

Rudy Gobert finished Sunday’s win over the Spurs with two points (1-of-4 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs), 14 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one blocked shot.

Gobert picked up his sixth flagrant foul point of the season in the third quarter of Sunday’s game when Victor Wembanyama landed on his foot after a three-point attempt due to the Timberwolves’ center’s closeout. Gobert’s rebounding production was solid, but that was the lone positive. He’ll be suspended for Tuesday’s game in Milwaukee due to the flagrant foul points, and Gobert’s likely to be fined for bumping into an official after the flagrant foul.

Naz Reid amassed 17 points (7-of-18 FGs), 11 rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and three three-pointers in Sunday’s win over the Spurs.

Reid recorded his fifth double-double of the season and first since December 14 on Sunday. And his fantasy ceiling will be raised for the start of Week 13, as Rudy Gobert will be suspended for Tuesday’s game against the Bucks due to flagrant foul point accumulation. Reid has yet to start a game this season; that’s likely to change in Milwaukee.

Edwards was basically the only Timberwolves’ starter capable of getting going offensively during the second quarter, making three of his five attempts in the frame. Others joined the fight in the third and fourth quarters, helping Minnesota win a game it trailed by as much as 19. Even with a persistent foot issue, Edwards hasn’t missed a game since December 17. Fantasy managers shouldn’t be too concerned if his name shows up on the injury report for Tuesday’s game against the Bucks.
Donte DiVincenzo

Donte DiVincenzo finished Sunday’s win over the Spurs with 19 points (7-of-16 FGs), nine rebounds, seven assists, three steals, one block and five three-pointers.

Less than five minutes into the third quarter of Sunday’s game, the Timberwolves trailed by 19 points. They managed to rally to pull off one of their best wins of the season, and DiVincenzo’s shooting was a factor. He hit four of his five three-pointers in the second half, and the overall stat line will be helpful to fantasy managers. Rostered in 45 percent of Yahoo! leagues, DiVincenzo has been close to a top-50 player over the past two weeks. The Timberwolves begin a three-game Week 13 in Milwaukee on Tuesday.
