Finney-Smith’s doubtful tag suggests he will not be available for Wednesday’s game. Shake Milton, who picked up a DNP-CD on Monday, may be asked to play a few minutes off the bench if DFS sits. He would not be worth streaming, and the same can be said for fellow reserves Cam Reddish and Dalton Knecht.

Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 30 points (13-of-18 FGs), 13 rebounds, two assists, two steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in a 126-102 loss to the Spurs on Monday.

Despite dealing with some early foul trouble, Davis was still a dominant force in this game and made his presence felt in the box score. He had a rough shooting night in their previous game, but he only missed five of his 18 shots in this one and made an impact in every category. The Lakers were dominated in the fourth quarter, which made the score a lot more lopsided than the first three quarters. AD continues to be one of the best players in fantasy basketball once again, and they still have three more games this week for him to dominate.
LeBron James

LeBron James posted a full line on Monday with 18 points (7-of-11 FGs), five rebounds, eight assists, one steal, one block, two 3-pointers and seven turnovers against San Antonio.

James was able to stuff the stat sheet in this game, but he also tied his season-high for turnovers. This was also his second straight game with less than 20 points, but it wasn’t a result of poor shooting. He has made at least 50% of his attempts in nine straight games, but he only took 11 shots in this game, which was a new season-low for him. The Lakers have now dropped three straight games, so we’ll see if LeBron is more aggressive when the Heat come to town on Wednesday.

Austin Reaves finished with 12 points (4-of-14 FGs), five rebounds, eight assists and two 3-pointers against the Spurs on Monday.

Reaves didn’t have a great shooting night in this one, but he was able to get back on track as a playmaker after only having one assist in their last game. Reaves had an elite stretch in late December with three straight games with at least 25 points and 10 assists, and he has five double-doubles in their last eight games. Unfortunately, the last few games have been some subpar shooting performances. They still have three more games this week, so he’ll look to get back on track against Miami on Wednesday.
LeBron James

LAL Small Forward #23

LeBron James (left foot injury management) has been upgraded to available for Monday’s matchup with the Spurs.

As expected, James will be good to go after initially being listed as probable. It has been six days since they last suited up because of the fires in LA that postponed their last two games. He has had a triple-double in each of their other two matchups with the Spurs this season, so expect him to continue to have success.

No surprise here as Davis was listed as probable heading into Monday’s tilt with the Spurs. Los Angeles’ last two games were postponed due to the wildfires so Davis should be ready to take on his usual heavy workload as one of the Lakers’ key starters.

JJ Redick told reporters Jarred Vanderbilt (knee) will miss at least one more week.

Redick told reporters there are still some hurdles for Vanderbilt to clear before being able to play in a game. While Redick described the 25-year-old power forward as “close” to returning, that won’t happen this week. The Lakers are in no rush to bring Vanderbilt, who had surgery on both feet during the offseason, back it seems.
