Williams missed Friday’s win over the Jazz as he continues to manage a knee injury. The 28-year-old center is set to return Sunday against the 76ers. He doesn’t have much fantasy value as the backup center.

Williams did not play in Friday’s win over the Jazz, leading Portland to go small when starting center Donovan Clingan was not on the court. They’re likely to take a similar approach if the Time Lord remains out on Sunday.

Scoot Henderson accounted for 25 points (8-of-13 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, one block and five three-pointers in Friday’s win over the Jazz.

Henderson has scored at least 17 points in three straight games, his most productive scoring run of the season to date. While he was responsible for five turnovers, the overall production helps compensate for that. Henderson doesn’t bring much to the table defensively, and the field-goal percentage remains low, limiting his value in category leagues. To this point in his career, Scoot has been more valuable in points leagues.
Donovan Clingan

Donovan Clingan finished Friday’s win over the Jazz with 15 points (5-of-9 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), 12 rebounds, two assists, one steal, six blocks and one three-pointer.

Finishing with his 27th double-double of the season, Clingan also provided excellent value in the blocked shots category. The six rejections were a season-high for the second-year center, and two shy of his career-high. Since the All-Star break, Clingan has been a second-round player in fantasy basketball, exceeding his Yahoo! ADP (90) by a significant distance. He’ll look to end Week 20 on a high note when Portland visits Philadelphia on Sunday.
Jrue Holiday

POR Guard #5

Jrue Holiday tallied 25 points (10-of-15 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, seven assists, one block and four three-pointers in Friday’s win over the Jazz.

Since the All-Star break, Holiday has scored at least 19 points in eight of the 11 games that he’s played. He had an excellent night against the Jazz, shooting 66.7 percent from the field and providing good value in rebounds, assists and three-pointers. Portland still has another game in Week 20, as they visit the 76ers on Sunday. Even more enticing for those who have Holiday rostered is that Portland opens its Week 21 with a game against the lottery-bound Nets on Monday.

Robert Williams III (knee) is out for Friday’s game against the Jazz.

Williams’ absence frees up minutes on the back end of the Trail Blazers’ rotation for Yang Hansen, who will slot in as the backup center. That isn’t enough to make the rookie worth the risk in redraft leagues, but he should be rostered in dynasty leagues.

Williams is on the report for injury management reasons, which could mean a return to the rotation for Yang Hansen. The rookie has been recalled from the Trail Blazers’ G League affiliate and is officially active. Hansen should only be rostered in dynasty leagues, and there would be no need to place him into active lineups if the Time Lord sits.
Donovan Clingan

Donovan Clingan had 11 points (3-of-9 FGs, 4-of-6 FTs), 11 rebounds, three assists, one steal, three blocks and one three-pointer in Tuesday’s loss to the Hornets.

Clingan has recorded a double-double in two of his last three games and has at least 11 rebounds in four of his last five games. The 22-year-old center also made his impact felt on the defensive end with a steal and three blocks. Clingan has played under 30 minutes in four consecutive games, which has been a drag on his fantasy value lately.
Deni Avdija

POR Forward #8

Deni Avdija had 22 points (8-of-18 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), four rebounds, seven assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Tuesday’s loss to the Hornets.

Avdija returned from a back injury with 18 points in Sunday’s win over the Pacers. The story was similar Tuesday against the Hornets as he had 22 points, though the Trail Blazers lost. Avdija played 34 minutes Tuesday after playing 25 on Sunday, which is certainly a positive development as he’s now seemingly over his back injury. The Trail Blazers have two more games this week and Avdija should be available for both of them.

Deni Avdija (back) recorded 18 points (6-of-16 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), five rebounds, eight assists and three blocks in Sunday’s win over the Pacers.

Back in the Trail Blazers’ lineup after a six-game absence, Avdija started and played 25 minutes on Sunday. Given the time off and how long his lower back injury has lingered, the Trail Blazers weren’t going to take any risks with the All-Star wing. Avdija missed all four of his three-point attempts, but fantasy managers can work with the rebounds, assists and blocks. Portland’s three-game Week 20 concludes with a back-to-back that extends into Week 21, so Avdija may be limited to two appearances.
