LaMelo Ball amassed 25 points (9-of-25 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, 11 assists, three steals, one blocked shot, and five 3-pointers in 40 minutes in Sunday’s 120-113 loss to Phoenix.

Ball recorded his eighth double-double of the season on Sunday, with eight being the points/assists variety. What’s also been notable recently has been the steals production. Ball has tallied three or more in four of the seven games he’s appeared in since returning from the calf strain that sidelined him for three weeks. While turnovers cut into Ball’s value in 9-cat formats, he has provided top 10 per-game value in 8-cat. Charlotte plays two games during Week 12 (Wednesday and Friday), which is a terrible schedule for fantasy basketball.
Miles Bridges

Miles Bridges accounted for 21 points (8-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, five assists, and three 3-pointers in 31 minutes in Sunday’s loss to Phoenix.

Bridges has scored 20 points or more in six of his last eight games, and there have also been improvements in the rebound and assist categories. Over the past three weeks, he has averaged 21.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.6 blocks, and 2.3 3-pointers per game, providing 3rd-round value in 9-cat formats. While Bridges hasn’t been as productive as he was last season, the Hornets forward is trending in the right direction. Charlotte only plays two games during Week 12, beginning with the Jazz on Wednesday.
Brandon Miller

Brandon Miller finished Sunday’s loss to the Suns with 19 points (6-of-16 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, six assists, and three 3-pointers in 33 minutes.

Miller’s recent absence due to a sprained ankle upset his offensive rhythm. The second-year wing had scored 20 points or more in 12 straight games before missing six of seven games. However, while Miller didn’t have a great night shooting the ball, he did dish out six assists while committing only one turnover. For the season, Miller’s ranked just outside the top-50 in 9-cat formats, and improved playmaking would raise his fantasy ceiling moving forward.
Mark Williams

Mark Williams finished Sunday’s 120-113 loss to Phoenix with 24 points (9-of-12 FGs, 6-of-10 FTs), 16 rebounds, four assists, and one blocked shot in 29 minutes.

Williams was a one-man wrecking crew during the first half of Sunday’s game, scoring 22 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Phoenix changed its lineup, starting Oso Ighodaro instead of Mason Plumlee, which helped them keep Williams under wraps in the second half. Even with the limited post-halftime production, this was a highly encouraging performance from the Hornets center. Williams has provided top-50 value in 9-cat formats over the past two weeks, which bodes well for his production for the rest of the season. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, the Hornets have a terrible schedule for Week 12, only playing on Wednesday and Friday.
DaQuan Jeffries

DaQuan Jeffries (illness) is out for Sunday’s game against the Suns.

Jeffries will not be available for Sunday’s game, and his absence does not impact fantasy basketball.
Nick Richards

Nick Richards provided a boost off the bench with 15 points (4-of-6 FGs), 12 rebounds and three blocks against the Suns on Tuesday.

Despite some excellent performances as part of the starting unit, Richards has been irrelevant in fantasy basketball as a reserve. However, coming off a scoreless performance in just eight minutes, Richards was able to record his first double-double in over a month. It was great to see him play well, but this doesn’t make him worth adding off the waiver wire. Unless Mark Williams misses a game, Richards won’t be reliable enough to consider rostering.
LaMelo Ball

LaMelo Ball led Charlotte with 32 points (12-of-28 FGs), 10 rebounds, seven assists, four steals and five 3-pointers in a 115-104 win over Phoenix on Tuesday.

Ball struggled with his shot in his return to the court on Sunday, and that carried over into the first half of this game. He shot just 4-of-13 from the floor in the first half before it started clicking after the break. That was enough for the Hornets to break their 10-game losing streak, though they’re still one of five teams that has less than 10 wins this season. Regardless, Ball will continue to be a stud in fantasy regardless of the team’s success. They still have three more games this week, starting in LA on Thursday.
Miles Bridges

Miles Bridges lit up the Suns with 21 points (8-of-17 FGs), seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and two 3-pointers on Tuesday.

After being held to just 11 points in their loss to the Cavs on Sunday, Bridges got back on track in this one to help Charlotte snap their losing streak. Bridges’ numbers have taken a step back this season, which was expected with LaMelo Ball back and healthy. However, his usage is actually about the same. Bridges’ field goal percentage has taken quite the hit, though he has still been effective enough in other areas, including a leap at the free throw line. They’ll kick off a lengthy road trip on Thursday when they take on the Lakers.
Seth Curry

CHA Point Guard #30

Seth Curry (right knee soreness) has been upgraded to available for Tuesday’s game against the Suns.

Curry was a late scratch in their last game, but he’ll be back in the lineup for this one. However, with LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller back, Curry won’t see enough minutes to be worth rostering in any format.

Curry missed Sunday’s game against the Cavaliers with a knee injury, but is listed probable for Tuesday against the Suns. The 34-year-old point guard should return, though he won’t have much fantasy value coming off the bench for the Hornets.
