Stephen Curry

GSW Guard #30

Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players

Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 29 points (9-of-19 FGs), one rebound, four assists, one steal and six three-pointers in a 120-100 win over the Heat on Thursday.

Despite a rough start to this game, Curry got going in the third quarter. After scoring seven points on 2-of-10 shooting in the first half, he scored 14 points in the third quarter alone and eight more points in the fourth to steal the win for Golden State. Curry has been unbelievable to start the season, which has him ranked as one of the best players in fantasy basketball to this point. He’ll look to stay hot against the Magic to wrap up the week on Saturday.
Yaxel Lendeborg

GSW Forward #1

Yaxel Lendeborg posted a full line on Thursday with 17 points (6-of-14 FGs), eight rebounds, six assists, three steals, one block and one three-pointer against the Heat.

Lendeborg has been one of the best rookies in the league this season, which has worked out well for fantasy managers, especially as of late. Since he was held to six points against the Lakers last week, he has averaged 23.3 points,5.7 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 3.0 triples per game. Lendeborg has been able to make an impact on both ends of the floor, with his only weakness in fantasy basketball being too many turnovers.
Will Richard

GSW Guard #3

Will Richard started on Thursday and finished with 10 points (4-of-6 FGs), one rebound, two assists, one block and two three-pointers against the Heat.

Richard got the starting nod for the second straight game and for the third time this season. Multiple players have filled out the fifth starting spot with Jimmy Butler III (knee) sidelined to start the year. Richard only played 16 minutes in this game, with Georges Niang and Brandon Williams each surpassing 20 minutes and scoring in double figures. Richard may continue to start, but he isn’t worth adding off the waiver wire.
Al Horford

GSW Center #20

Al Horford (back) is available for Thursday’s game against the Heat.

Horford is available after sitting out Monday’s win over the Suns, which was the Warriors’ second game in as many nights. While he will provide frontcourt depth off the bench, Horford should not be rostered in fantasy leagues at this stage of his career.
Brandon Williams

GSW Guard #12

Brandon Williams (quad) is not on the injury report for Thursday’s game against the Heat.

Williams is available after missing Monday’s win over the Suns. He’ll provide perimeter depth off the bench, which limits his fantasy ceiling.
Kristaps Porziņģis

GSW Forward-Center #7

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports the Warriors are not delivering payments to Kristaps Porziņģis, ruling that he is “not rendering services.”

Porziņģis re-signed with the Warriors on a two-year, $40 million deal at the start of free agency. Since then, Porziņģis hasn’t really been around the team, and there have been reports that the team doesn’t expect him to suit up for them again. This won’t help those odds, and if Porziņģis suits up this season, it seems likely it will be for a different team. However, a team could trade for Porziņģis with the intention to buy him out to save some money.
Charles Bassey

GSW Forward-Center #28

Charles Bassey recorded 19 points (7-of-10 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), eight rebounds and one assist in Monday’s win over the Suns.

While Bassey scored nine points in the first half, his role in the Warriors’ rotation grew more important in the second half. Draymond Green was ejected two minutes into the third quarter, giving Bassey more minutes. In 15 second-half minutes, he accumulated 10 points, six rebounds and one assist. Bassey’s 19 points are a career high, and more nights like this would go a long way toward making his contract fully guaranteed come January 10.
Brandin Podziemski

GSW Guard #2

Brandin Podziemski recorded 20 points (7-of-14 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), two rebounds, two assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Monday’s win over the Suns.

Podziemski recorded his second 20-point game of the season on Monday, finishing one point shy of his high (21 vs. the Lakers on Friday). Like Stephen Curry, Podz was most effective during the third quarter, scoring 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the field. The negative for fantasy managers is that Podziemski didn’t provide much value beyond the points and three-pointers. They’ll hope for more on Thursday when the Warriors host the Heat.
Stephen Curry

GSW Guard #30

Stephen Curry tallied 34 points (9-of-21 FGs, 11-of-12 FTs), six rebounds, seven assists, one steal and five three-pointers in Monday’s win over the Suns.

While he didn’t have his best night shooting the basketball, Curry extended his streak of games with at least 31 points to three. The Warriors star was at his best in the third quarter, shooting 6-of-9 from the field and scoring 18 points. Outside that period, the Suns kept Curry in check, but he still went home with a stat line that many fantasy managers will take without hesitation.
Draymond Green

GSW Forward-Center #23

Draymond Green was ejected from Monday’s game against the Suns with 10 minutes left in the third quarter.

Green picked up two technical fouls early in the third quarter. After Suns center Khaman Maluach bumped him, Green got up, wrapped up Maluach, and threw him to the ground. The second technical was assessed when Green got into it with Dillon Brooks, who also received a technical foul. Green (4/4/2/1) was replaced in the lineup by Charles Bassey.
