Keon Ellis amassed 18 points (6-of-8 FGs), three rebounds, one assist, one steal, and six 3-pointers in 18 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Wizards.

Ellis has made at least one 3-pointer in 16 straight games and two or more in each of his last four. Sunday’s effort was the best of the bunch, as the Kings guard shot 6-of-8 from beyond the arc and scored 18 points. Ellis didn’t provide much defensive value, but improved scoring can raise his fantasy ceiling despite coming off the bench. He remains, at best, a deep-league option, but Ellis is someone to be mindful of if the Kings lose someone to an injury.
De'Aaron Fox

SAC Point Guard #5

De’Aaron Fox logged 35 minutes in Sunday’s win over Washington, accounting for 12 points (4-of-12 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, 13 assists, two steals, and one blocked shot.

Fox didn’t shoot the ball well but made up for that by racking up the assists. The 13 helpers were a season-high, and fantasy managers also picked up some value in the steals category. Over the past two weeks, Fox has provided top-25 value in 8-cat formats, which aligns with his season-long value. Malik Monk picked up the slack for his backcourt partner scoring-wise, tallying 23 points with one rebound, four assists, one steal, one blocked shot, and three 3-pointers in 30 minutes.
DeMar DeRozan

SAC Small Forward #10

DeMar DeRozan shot 9-of-21 from the field and 6-of-7 from the foul line in Sunday’s win over Washington, tallying 24 points, six rebounds, one assist, two steals, and one blocked shot in 38 minutes.

While scoring 20 points or more in six straight games may not be a noteworthy career achievement for a player of DeRozan’s caliber, this is his longest streak since he met or exceeded that number in his first eight games as a King. DeRozan has provided 6th-round value in 9-cat formats, taking a hit compared to his production with the Bulls last season. However, he’s one of the players whose production has improved since the head coaching change, which is good news for the Kings and those who have DeRozan rostered.
Domantas Sabonis

SAC Power Forward #11

Domantas Sabonis finished Sunday’s 123-100 win over the Wizards with 29 points (12-of-16 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), 18 rebounds, four assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

Having scored 20 points or more in six of his last seven games, Sabonis also has three games with at least 18 rebounds during this stretch. The Kings center has been consistently elite concerning fantasy value, providing 1st-round value in 8- and 9-cat formats. Sabonis, whose college jersey was retired over the weekend, will get a little time off as the Kings won’t play again until Wednesday against the Warriors.

Injured during Thursday’s loss to the Rockets, Ellis fully participated in Saturday’s practice and will play on Sunday. He’ll provide depth and deep-league fantasy value coming off the bench.
Devin Carter

Devin Carter (right wrist soreness) is out for Sunday’s game against the Wizards.

Carter did not practice on Saturday, and the rookie has officially been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Wizards. Keon Ellis (ankle) is questionable, and he (along with Kevin Huerter) can absorb the minutes that would have gone to Carter.
Jordan McLaughlin

SAC Point Guard #3

Jordan McLaughlin (personal reasons) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Wizards.

McLaughlin has been removed from the injury report after missing Thursday’s loss to the Rockets. Even with Devin Carter (wrist) ruled out, McLaughlin is unlikely to be in the Kings’ rotation on Sunday.
Keon Ellis

Ellis injured his game during Thursday’s loss to the Rockets and did not return after exiting the game. His full participation in Saturday’s practice is a positive sign regarding his potential availability for Sunday’s game against the Wizards. Ellis will be listed as questionable on the Kings’ initial injury report.
Devin Carter

Devin Carter (right wrist soreness) is not expected to play in Sunday’s game against the Wizards.

Carter did not participate in Saturday’s practice and is expected to be unable to play against the Wizards. Keon Ellis (ankle) is considered questionable, and his return would help the Kings account for Carter’s absence. While the rookie guard has played rotation minutes, he has not impacted fantasy basketball.
DeMar DeRozan

SAC Small Forward #10

DeMar DeRozan led the Kings with 31 points (12-of-23 FGs), five rebounds, four assists and two 3-pointers in a 132-127 win over the Rockets on Thursday.

This was just the fifth time this season that DeRozan was able to score at least 30 points, and it was enough to help them get a tough win over the Rockets. 16 of his 31 points came in the fourth quarter, and he truly closed out this game late. DeRozan’s numbers have been down this season, but he has started to pick things up recently. This was his fifth straight game with at least 20 points, and he’ll look to keep that streak going during their matchup with the Wizards on Sunday.
