Nate Bittle amassed 13 points (5-of-9 FGs), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal, three blocks and three three-pointers in Thursday’s win over the Heat.

While two of the Raptors’ three two-way contract slots have been filled by Chucky Hepburn and second-round pick Jaden Bradley, Bittle will be in training camp on an Exhibit 10 deal. Not selected in last month’s draft, the 7-footer out of Oregon has displayed range out beyond the three-point line as well as the ability to provide rim protection defensively. While Bittle may not be in a position where he can be relied on in most redraft leagues, he’s an intriguing player to watch in dynasty formats, especially when considering Jakob Poeltl’s struggles to stay healthy last season.

Allen Graves accounted for 23 points (8-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks and four three-pointers in Thursday’s win over the Heat.

The Raptors fell short of a spot in Saturday’s semifinals, but Graves came through with another solid performance for the winners. The rookie forward’s ability to fill a stat line is what pushed him into the first round despite not being a starter at Santa Clara. Graves contributed on both ends of the floor against the Heat, and he offers a similar fantasy profile to Collin Murray-Boyles, albeit at a smaller size. How valuable Graves can be as a rookie depends partially on Kawhi Leonard, whose acquisition is still on hold. Rotation minutes should not be an issue for Graves, given the many ways in which he can contribute.

As was the case in Friday’s loss to the Celtics, Graves provided value in multiple statistical categories on Monday. Versatility is one reason the first-round pick out of Santa Clara could be an immediate fantasy asset, even though Graves is likely to come off the bench. Graves offers value as a rebounder, facilitator and defender, with Monday’s stat line only lacking a blocked shot. While he may offer a limited ceiling as a rookie, Graves may be worth the risk in deeper leagues.
Collin Murray-Boyles

Collin Murray-Boyles (finger) will not play in Monday’s game against the Pacers.

Murray-Boyles has yet to appear in a game this summer, and it’s fair to wonder if the Raptors will eventually shut him down given the low stakes. While injuries limited him to 57 games as a rookie, the 6-foot-8 forward averaged 8.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.9 blocks in 21.9 minutes. When healthy, Murray-Boyles can be highly valuable in category leagues, even if he continues to come off the bench next season.

Nate Bittle recorded eight points (3-of-7 FGs), 10 rebounds, three assists and six blocks in Friday’s loss to the Celtics.

Signed to an Exhibit 10 contract on Friday morning, Bittle had an excellent summer league debut. The 7-footer blocked six shots and shot 2-of-5 from beyond the arc, providing value on both ends of the floor. In the past, the Raptors have enjoyed success developing players through their G League affiliate. At a minimum, Bittle knows that he’ll be in an NBA training camp come September. Not a bad deal for a player who went undrafted after a productive college career at Oregon.
Allen Graves

Allen Graves finished Friday’s loss to the Celtics with 22 points (9-of-16 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), 13 rebounds, three steals, two blocks and three three-pointers.

Making his summer debut, Graves displayed the versatility that made him the 19th overall pick in last month’s draft. Efficient offensively, the former Santa Clara forward was also a pest defensively. What the Raptors’ rotation will look like once the regular season begins is unknown, as the Kawhi Leonard trade has been placed on hold. Regardless of what happens, Graves has the tools needed to crack the rotation, just as Collin Murray-Boyles did as a rookie last season.

Kawhi Leonard’s reported trade to the Raptors won’t be complete until the NBA’s investigation into the Clippers is over.

The two teams agreed to send Leonard back to Toronto for Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick and draft compensation at the end of June, but that deal is now on hold pending the league’s investigation into the Clippers’ Aspiration scandal. ESPN’s Shams Charania said that the expectation is that the deal will still end up happening. While that remains to be seen, all parties involved will be better off as soon as the league finally wraps up this investigation.

Kyle Anderson has agreed to a one-year, $3.9 million contract with the Raptors, reports ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Anderson has certainly bounced around, appearing for five different teams over the last two seasons. It looks like he’s found a home for this year, though, with the Raptors gearing up for contention in the wake of the Kawhi Leonard trade. For fantasy purposes, Anderson is a role player and doesn’t have much upside at this point in his career.

Kyle Lowry will retire as a Raptor, according to Sportsnet’s Michael Grange.

Lowry, a first-round pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, spent 20 seasons in the NBA. Nine of those were in Toronto, including all six of his All-Star seasons. Of course, Lowry was a starting member of the 2019 NBA Champion Raptors. He was voted All-NBA once in his career, making the third-team in 2015. Lowry will sign a ceremonial one-day contract with the Raptors before retiring. It could be a precursor to eventually having his number retired by the organization.

Raptors signed head coach Darko Rajaković to a multi-year extension.

After two seasons in which the Raptors failed to reach the postseason, they won 46 games in 20256-26 and lost to the Cavaliers in seven games in the first round of the playoffs. While the acquisition of Kawhi Leonard means expectations will be significantly higher for Rajaković in 2026-27, the contract extension signals that the front office believes he is the right coach for the job.
