Pelle Larsson (leg) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Hawks.
Absent from the initial injury report released by the Heat, Larsson is dealing with a lower right leg contusion. If he’s unable to play, Keshad Johnson and Myron Gardner could see their minutes increase. Johnson, who played legitimate rotation minutes in Friday’s win over the Wizards, is the superior option for managers in active fantasy leagues.
  • MIA Guard #24
Norman Powell (groin) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Hawks.
Powell did not play in Friday’s win over the Wizards, which factored into rookie Keshad Johnson playing 30 minutes off the bench. If Powell can play in Sunday’s regular-season finale, and the Heat still have a chance of moving into the No. 9 seed, Johnson’s playing time will decrease.
  • MIA Guard #11
Jaime Jaquez Jr. (hip) is out for Thursday’s game against the Lakers.
Jaquez will sit out Thursday’s game due to tightness in his left hip. Simone Fontecchio and Keshad Johnson are two players whose opportunities may increase due to Jaquez’s absence, with the former being the safer streaming option.
  • MIA Forward #16
Keshad Johnson provided a boost off the bench with 15 points (6-of-12 FGs), five rebounds, one assist, three steals, one block and three three-pointers against the Hornets on Tuesday.
Johnson took on extra minutes off the bench with Bam Adebayo (calf) sidelined. He filled out the backup center minutes behind Kel’el Ware in what ended up being a small reserve lineup for Miami. Clearly, it wasn’t an effective strategy. Still, Johnson was able to have a productive night in 20 minutes off the bench, though even if Bam misses another game, Johnson shouldn’t be seen as a safe streaming option.
  • MIA Forward #16
Keshad Johnson (calf) is available for Friday’s matchup with Atlanta.
Johnson will get the all-clear against the Hawks, but he’s been out of Miami’s rotation this season, so his availability isn’t meaningful for fantasy hoops managers.
  • MIA Forward #16
Keshad Johnson (calf) did not practice on Thursday.
The slam dunk champion will still travel with the Heat for their game in Atlanta on Friday, so this doesn’t mean he will miss the game. However, he hasn’t been part of the rotation this season, so his status won’t impact much for Miami.
  • MIA Forward #16
Keshad Johnson won the slam dunk contest as part of NBA All-Star Saturday.
Undrafted from Arizona in 2024, Johnson has been a part of the Heat’s bench for the last two seasons. The 24-year-old forward won the slam dunk contest, besting the Spurs’ Carter Bryant in the final round. Bryant earned the only 50 score of the night with a dunk that resembled Vince Carter’s iconic dunk in the 2000 slam dunk contest, but failed to complete a dunk on his next turn. Johnson won the competition with a windmill jam after taking off from a step inside the free throw line.
  • MIA Forward #16
Keshad Johnson (illness) is available for Friday’s game against the Hawks.
Johnson will be available for Friday’s game despite dealing with an illness. However, his availability does not affect fantasy basketball, even with Tyler Herro unavailable.
  • MIA Forward #16
Keshad Johnson (illness) is probable to play against the Hawks on Friday.
Johnson was initially listed as questionable but is now expected to play against Atlanta. However, he hasn’t been a consistent part of Miami’s rotation this season, and that likely won’t change in this game.
  • MIA Forward #16
Keshad Johnson (illness) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Hawks.
Johnson’s availability does not affect fantasy basketball, even with Tyler Herro (toe) still out. Plus, with Nikola Jović and Pelle Larsson considered probable, Johnson may not see any action on Friday.
