Pelle Larsson (finger) is probable to play against the Jazz on Saturday.
Larsson is managing a finger issue in his left hand, but that isn’t expected to keep him sidelined against Utah. He has been starting with Tyler Herro (rib) unavailable, which has led to limited production. Larsson should continue to start, but he isn’t an enticing streamer.
  • MIA Guard #14
Tyler Herro (rib) is unlikely to join the Heat during the team’s five-game road trip.
Herro did not travel west with the team ahead of Monday’s game against the Warriors, instead staying in Miami to undergo an MRI on his ribs. The scans have uncovered a costochondral issue, which is inflammation or separation that can take weeks or even months to recover from. The Heat did not provide a timeline for Herro’s return, but he should be considered out indefinitely until that changes. Pelle Larsson has been the replacement in the starting lineup.
  • MIA Guard #14
Tyler Herro (rib) is out for Monday’s game against the Warriors.
Monday’s game will be the second that Herro misses due to a rib contusion. And he could be out for longer than that, as he did not travel with the team out west. Herro will undergo an MRI, and the Heat have another game in Sacramento on Tuesday. Pelle Larsson should remain in the starting lineup as long as Herro is unavailable.
  • MIA Guard #45
Davion Mitchell (shoulder) has been ruled out against the Thunder on Saturday.
Mitchell will remain out for a second straight game, which leaves the starting point guard spot open. Pelle Larsson filled it on Thursday, though he was unproductive in his 31 minutes. Kasparas Jakucionis did more with his 27 minutes, though a matchup with this Thunder defense isn’t ideal for a rookie point guard.
  • MIA Guard #9
Tyler Herro, Norman Powell, Andrew Wiggins, Pelle Larsson and Bam Adebayo will start Thursday’s game against the Celtics.
The Heat are without Davion Mitchell, who’s out with a left shoulder contusion. He’ll be replaced in the lineup by Larsson, which means more on-ball playmaking duties for Herro and Powell.
  • MIA Guard #45
Davion Mitchell (shoulder) has been downgraded to out for Thursday’s game against the Celtics.
Mitchell was initially listed as doubtful after leaving Tuesday’s game against the Suns with a shoulder contusion, so his being out for tonight is not a huge surprise. Pelle Larsson should see more minutes in his absence.
  • MIA Guard #45
Davion Mitchell (shoulder) is doubtful for Thursday’s game against the Celtics.
Mitchell had to exit Tuesday’s win over the Suns with a left shoulder contusion, and he’s on track to miss Thursday’s game. His absence would mean more opportunities for Jaime Jaquez Jr., Pelle Larsson and Dru Smith, with one moving into the starting lineup.
  • MIA Guard #24
Norman Powell (back) is available to play against the Suns on Tuesday.
Powell will be back after a one-game absence. Pelle Larsson started in his place and was productive in 28 minutes. However, with Powell back, Larsson will lose out on minutes and likely won’t play enough to be worth streaming.
  • MIA Guard #24
Norman Powell (back) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Suns.
Powell did not play in Sunday’s loss to the Thunder, leading to Pelle Larsson moving into the starting lineup. In 28 minutes, the second-year wing tallied 16 points, three rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and one three-pointer. Larsson will take on a similar role of Powell can’t play against the Suns.
  • MIA Guard #9
Pelle Larsson contributed 16 points (6-of-11 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block over 27 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Thunder.
Larsson scored 16 points for the second time in his last four games. The lack of a consistent role limits his scoring appeal and extinguishes his immediate fantasy appeal. However, he would be the primary beneficiary from a minutes standpoint if Norman Powell winds up requiring a lengthy absence. It’s a situation to monitor in deeper fantasy leagues.
