Seahawks claimed QB Mike Reilly off waivers from the Rams.
Reilly is a local player, going undrafted out of Central Washington last year. The Seahawks were only carrying three QBs, so Reilly will be a fourth arm for training camp. He’s not going to beat out Mike Teel for the No. 3 job.
  • FA Quarterback
    Rams waived QB Mike Reilly.
Reilly, who went undrafted out of Central Washington last year, spent the final four weeks of 2009 on St. Louis’ inactives list. Though athletic with adequate size (6'3/214), Reilly didn’t prove a better backup option than Keith Null.
  • FA Quarterback
    Seahawks waived QB Mike Reilly.
Reilly was just signed two weeks ago, so he obviously failed to impress the coaching staff. He could sign on elsewhere as an extra camp arm for the summer.
  • FA Quarterback
Steelers signed Central Washington QB Mike Reilly.
Reilly is a favorite of Football Outsiders’ Doug Farrar and ESPN’s Ron Jaworski. Farrar believes he might even be the third-best quarterback in this year’s class. Reilly posted outstanding numbers in CWU’s spread offense and was considered a possible mid-round choice by some teams.
  • FA Quarterback
According to Ed Thompson of Scout.com, the Steelers will release rookie QB Mike Reilly.
Reilly was the only Division-II quarterback invited to the 2009 Scouting Combine. He should catch on to a team’s practice squad over the next few days.
  • FA Quarterback
Rams signed QB Mike Reilly off the Packers’ practice squad.
The Rams probably don’t expect Marc Bulger (tibia) back. Reilly will sit behind Kyle Boller and Keith Null for now. He was remarkably accurate at Eastern Washington and is very mobile, making for an interesting fit in the Rams’ West Coast offense. Ideally, Null or Reilly will emerge as St. Louis’ long-term No. 2 QB after they draft a new franchise quarterback in April.
  • FA Quarterback
The Rams are expected to sign QB Mike Reilly off the Packers practice squad.
Perhaps the Rams are finally ready to get a look at a young quarterback. With Marc Bulger (knee) sidelined and Kyle Boller ineffective, they might as well see what Keith Null and/or Reilly have in the season’s last four weeks.
  • FA Quarterback
Packers signed QB Mike Reilly to their practice squad.
He replaces Brian Brohm, who was plucked by the Bills Wednesday. Reilly spent the summer with the Steelers as an undrafted rookie out of Central Washington. He’s a prospect with upside, but the fact that he hasn’t been on a practice squad all season despite a couple workouts is a bad sign.
  • FA Quarterback
The 49ers consider Central Washington QB Mike Reilly a “second-tier” prospect, or a candidate to go between the third and fifth rounds.
The D-II product put up sensational numbers in CWU’s spread. “Our scouts think he’s a pretty good prospect,” Niners GM Scot McCloughan said. “Not a high-round guy, but a middle-round guy that’s got some upside.” Mobile and accurate, Reilly will probably go in the sixth or seventh round.
