Mike Wallace was inactive for the Eagles’ Divisional loss to the Saints.
Wallace was activated off injured reserve almost three weeks ago, but he was not active for the season finale or either playoff game. Signed to a one-year deal in March, Wallace did not record a catch in two games before suffering a broken fibula which sent him to injured reserve. This was a lost season, but Wallace was not bad in a tough situation with the Ravens in 2017. Even heading into his age-33 season, Wallace should draw some interest on the free agent market if the Eagles decide to let him walk.
  • FA Wide Receiver #14
Eagles declared WR Mike Wallace, LB B.J. Bello, DT Bruce Hector, CB Sidney Jones, OG Matt Pryor, OG Chance Warmack and QB Carson Wentz inactive for Sunday’s Divisional Round game against the Saints.
Wallace (ankle) practiced on a limited basis this week but obviously it wasn’t enough to get him game-ready. Without him, the Eagles will rely on Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor and Golden Tate at receiver. LB D.J. Alexander (hamstring), DE Michael Bennett (foot), WR Shelton Gibson (hamstring) and OT Jason Peters (quad) are all active for Sunday’s Divisional Round game at the Superdome.
  • FA Wide Receiver #14
Mike Wallace (ankle) is questionable for Sunday’s Divisional Round game against the Saints.
The questionable tag gives him a shot to suit up Sunday in what would be his first appearance since Week 2. Even if Wallace earns the green light, he’d be no better than the Eagles’ fifth-best receiving option behind Zach Ertz, Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor and Golden Tate.
  • FA Wide Receiver #14
Mike Wallace (ankle) remained limited at Wednesday’s practice.
Wallace hasn’t dressed for the Eagles since coming off injured reserve. This is his third week of limited practice participation. He should be nearing a return, though with so many other mouths to feed in Philadelphia’s pass-catching corps, Wallace won’t be of any DFS interest if he suits up at New Orleans this week.
  • FA Wide Receiver #14
Eagles coach Doug Pederson said Mike Wallace (ankle) is day to day.
Wallace got in three limited practices last week, but he was ruled out on the final injury report. He has still yet to play since being activated from injured reserve. Even if he suits up, Wallace is unlikely to see a large target share behind Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor, and Golden Tate.
  • FA Wide Receiver #14
Mike Wallace (ankle) is out for Sunday’s Wild Card game against the Bears.
LB D.J. Alexander (hamstring), CB Sidney Jones (hamstring) and QB Carson Wentz (back) have also been ruled out for Sunday’s postseason opener. Wallace was activated from injured reserve last month but has yet to appear in a game since breaking his fibula in Week 2. Alshon Jeffery, Nelson Agholor and Golden Tate will continue to work in three-wide sets with Wallace shelved.
  • FA Wide Receiver #14
Mike Wallace (ankle) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Wallace has yet to play since being activated from I.R., but that could change this week against Chicago. He’d likely fight Golden Tate for snaps behind Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor, who are every-down players right now.
  • FA Wide Receiver #14
Mike Wallace (ankle) is out for Week 17 against Washington.
Wallace will have to wait for the playoffs (if they occur) to return to Philly’s lineup. If the Eagles fail to sneak in, the 32-year-old will likely find a suitor elsewhere as a free agent in 2019.
  • FA Wide Receiver #14
Mike Wallace (ankle) remained limited at Thursday’s practice.
Wallace is hoping to return for Sunday’s regular season finale at Washington after sitting out the past 13 games with a broken fibula. Even if Wallace gets the green light, he’s likely to be on a strict snap count. In a crowded Eagles pass-catching corps, Wallace won’t be of much fantasy interest this week or going forward.
  • FA Wide Receiver #14
Mike Wallace (leg) was limited at Wednesday’s practice.
Wallace was activated from injured reserve earlier this week and is hoping to suit up for Sunday’s regular season finale at Washington. Even if he plays, the veteran deep threat won’t be of any fantasy consequence.
