Andre Pallante pitched five innings of one-run ball in a no-decision against the Marlins on Saturday.
Pallante’s rotation spot has to be pretty much locked up at this point, as he’s sporting a 2.57 ERA through 14 innings. He doesn’t offer any fantasy potential at all, but the Cardinals would be just fine with 170 innings of anything close to a league-average ERA.

Andre Pallante limited the Marlins to one run over four innings on Sunday.
Pallante struck out three and allowed just one hard-hit ball to the 16 batters he faced. He might eventually get overtaken in the Cardinals rotation, but with his 3.00 ERA in three outings this spring, he’s probably doing enough to keep his spot initially.

Andre Pallante pitched three innings of one-run ball in the Cardinals’ 3-2 victory over the Marlins on Monday.
Pallante struck out two and had a successful outing even though his velocity is down by about two mph at the moment. He’s certain to be a part of the Cardinals’ rotation to begin the year, but he has a lot to prove after finishing 6-15 with a 5.31 ERA last year.

Cardinals agreed to terms with RHP Andre Pallante on a one-year, $4 million contract.
Pallante was a Super Two player last year, so that’s inflating his salary a little here in his second year of arbitration. The 27-year-old went 6-15 with a 5.31 ERA in 31 starts last season, making him quite the question mark going forward. He’ll definitely open up in the middle of a weak Cardinals rotation, but he could be pushed if prospects start panning out.

Andre Pallante allowed five runs -- two earned -- with four strikeouts over 2 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Giants on Tuesday.
Pallante was sharp through two clean inning before falling apart in the third. Though, a fielding error with the bases loaded and no outs didn’t help as two runs would come in to score. The Giants plated three more runs before Pallante was replaced by John King with two outs, ending his day at 66 pitches with four strikeouts. The 27-year-old right-hander ends his season with a 5.31 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, and a 111/62 K/BB ratio across 162 2/3 innings.

Andre Pallante yielded four runs while working five innings in a loss to the Reds on Wednesday.
Three of those runs were allowed on one swing of the bat, as Spencer Steer took Pallante deep for a three-run blast. The 26-year-old was ok after that, but damage done. Pallante has had some decent moments as a starter in 2025, but the overall experience has been shaky as seen in a 5.29 ERA over 160 innings. His final start of the campaign will come against the Giants next week.

Andre Pallante allowed five runs — four earned — in five innings and took the loss against the Brewers on Friday.
Pallante gave up for hits, walked four and struck out none. The 26-year-old right-hander went without recording a strikeout for the second time in his last seven starts. This is also the fifth start where Pallante has recorded one or less strikeouts. He has a 5.34 ERA and 104 strikeouts in 155 innings this year. Pallante is lined up to face the Reds at home next week.

Andre Pallante allowed two runs while working six innings while not factoring into the decision Saturday against the Giants.
Pallante looked like he was going to get a hard-luck loss, but the Cardinals scored three in the bottom of the ninth to prevent that from happening. The 26-year-old allowed five hits with a walk, and he struck out three. Pallante has had mixed results at best in 2025 — a 5.28 ERA suggests that might be too kind — but there have been moments to suggest he can be a decent option someday. It’s a mistake in process to believe Friday against the Brewers will be one of those days.

Andre Pallante was charged with five runs — two earned — over five innings on Sunday in a loss to the Reds.
Pallante was hit hard for the third straight start as he surrendered six hits, including a go-ahead homer to Austin Hays in the fifth inning. The 26-year-old figures to hang onto his rotation spot for now, but he’s really struggled in the second half. He’ll square off against the Giants on Saturday at Busch Stadium.

Andre Pallante was knocked around in Tuesday night’s loss to the Pirates, surrendering eight runs (seven earned) on eight hits over five innings.
Pallante struck out three hitters on the evening while issuing one base on balls. The Pirates jumped on him early and often in this one, pushing five runs across in the opening inning, two more in the second and another in the third on a solo blast by Henry Davis. Pallante finished his day with two scoreless frames. The 26-year-old hurler got six whiffs on 91 pitches on the night, posting a CSW of only 21 percent. He now holds a miserable 5.44 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and a 95/48 K/BB ratio over 139 innings on the season. We’ll see if he sticks around to make his scheduled start against the Reds in Cincinnati on Sunday or if the Cardinals decide to explore other rotation options.
