Royals signed LHP Anthony Gose to a minor league contract.
Gose, 35, will give the Royals some bullpen depth in the minors. The 35-year-old last pitched in the majors in 2024 when he made three appearances for the Guardians.

    Diamondbacks released LHP Anthony Gose.
Gose latched on with Arizona on a minor league contract back in mid-June and struggled to an inflated 5.14 ERA across 14 innings (14 appearances) for Triple-A Reno. The 34-year-old lefty made three relief appearances last season for the Guardians. He should be able to find another opportunity somewhere else to close out the season.

Diamondbacks signed LHP Anthony Gose to a minor league contract.
The 34-year-old southpaw will report to Triple-A Reno. Gose had made 21 appearances at Triple-A Syracuse before he was released by the Mets, posting a 4.30 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and a 25/14 K/BB ratio across 23 frames. Given their current bullpen woes, it shouldn’t take Gose long to get an opportunity at the big league level if he shows anything at Triple-A Reno.

    Mets released LHP Anthony Gose.
Gose, who signed a minor league contract in December, had a 4.30 ERA and a 25/14 K/BB in 23 innings out of the pen for Triple-A Syracuse. The former outfielder has a 4.78 ERA in 31 major league relief appearances, all of them coming with the Guardians.

Mets reassigned INF Joey Meneses, INF Luis De Los Santos, LHP Anthony Gose, RHP Sean Reid-Foley and C Chris Williams to minor league camp.
Meneses, 32, was brought in as a non-roster invite, and won’t be a part of the Mets to open the 2025 campaign. Gose and Reid-Foley are both non-roster invitees as well who will need to be added to the 40-man roster to pitch for New York this summer.

Mets signed LHP Anthony Gose to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
Gose oscillated back and forth between Cleveland’s bullpen and Triple-A Columbus last year, making three relief appearances for the eventual AL Central champions. The 34-year-old southpaw has had a remarkable career arc, successfully making the transition from big-league center fielder to legitimate hard-throwing lefty reliever. He’ll bolster New York’s organizational relief depth heading into next season and will probably open the year back at Triple-A Syracuse.
  • CLE Relief Pitcher #26
Guardians designated LHP Anthony Gose for assignment.
It was good that MLB put in rules to prevent players from being optioned a dozen times per year, but there’s nothing keeping the Guardians from promoting and DFAing Gose every week. This is the fourth time it’s happened since the beginning of August.
  • CLE Relief Pitcher #26
Guardians selected the contract of LHP Anthony Gose from Triple-A Indianapolis.
It’s the fourth time that Gose has been called up by the Guardians this year. Will it be the last? The left-hander will provide depth in the bullpen in this stint, and he replaces Scott Barlow after Barlow was designated for assignment.

Guardians re-signed LHP Anthony Gose to a minor-league contract.
We’re not sure if Anthony Gose knows he’s allowed to sign with other teams at this point. The left-hander has been outrighted and returned to Cleveland several times, and will continue to provide organizational depth for the remainder of 2024.

Anthony Gose has elected free agency.
The left-hander was sent outright to Triple-A Columbus on Friday but instead of accepting the assignment, Gose has decided to peddle his wares on the open market instead. The 34-year-old possesses a live arm so it shouldn’t take him long to land another opportunity elsewhere.
